the reason we are meant to smoke pot, rather the reasons, are many.
one such reason, which pertains to this thread, is short term memory.
We are not supposed to remember our dreams all the time, the reason being that they are there for a purpose, to guide us in life, but remembering them often causes us to apply the lessons inappropriately.
by temporarily forgetting our dreams, we are better able to recognize the areas of our life which dreams become important. this is also called Deja Vu.
We never forget our dreams completely, however because they werent physically real, and because we forget them, they get stored differently in the memory, only cropping up when the situation(s) in life call for them.
When we remember our dreams, we ponder on about them until we truly forget them and they become useless. OR we apply them to the wrong areas of our life.
same thing I've figured out..:thumbsup:Quote:

I get the same thing. When I smoke I don't remember my dreams - but after stopping for a few days - I remember them very vividly... I haven't smoked in over a week and the last few nights I'm remembering the craziest dreams...Quote:

I have experienced this same thing and ive been smoking for around 10 years now. When im smoking I dont remmber my dreams, when I quit for days weeks or months at a time I get vivid and crazy awesome dreams. Theres also an add in Hightimes everymonth that say's somthing to the fact that "Stopped dreaming? Simply quit smoking for a few days!". :rasta:
its funny u ask this...in the last year i have been having to take ua's and one of the first things i noticed when i stopped smokin was that i could remember my dreams WAY more...and when i smoke every once and a while i notice that i dont remember my dreams...i dont think that u dream more or less...i just think u cant remember em when u wake up :)
I just noticed this a few days ago. I don't sleep as well without pot, because my dreams always interupt my sleep when I don't smoke. When I smoke, I have no problem. I sleep straight through and don't have that, "Am I still dreaming?" feeling you get the first few seconds after waking up.
I usually have to use my Dr's prescription for Ambien when I take breaks from smoking, because my primary use for smoking is Insomnia, otherwise I never need to take them and a heavy indica is usually enough.Quote:
