Because there is no balanced opinion opposing gays. Yours is an extreme religious view and your entitled to it, but the fact that gays do little to harm anyone means there is simply no need to take action against them. If some Christian prick knocks a homosexual to the ground and calls him a fag, he deserves to be arrested. Tradition changes, learn to live with it.

England will never become an Islamic nation, it's simply not possible, unless your fantasy of Muslims swarming the streets and forcing everyone to convert should ever happen (which it won't, that's also impossible). It all amounts to the same conclusion: British Muslims do not cause any trouble or harm, they are hard working and respected by the majority. To openly criticise an Muslim for their religion is racism, pure and simple. If we, as a country, allowed this stuff to happen we'd be a pretty fucked up place. Racism is not tolerated, and that's the way we British like it. Any racist fuck that thinks he can badmouth the good Muslim folk of Britain deserves to get bummed in the showers of British prisons. You do make a good point about Muslim extremists and their hateful public gatherings and take it from me, none of us want it. We want the pricks out, but the government insists it's alright. What's a man to do?

It's all a matter of your respect for other people. You can be a conservative American in Britain and noone will smite you for it. People may not approve, but that's politics and the majority would keep their mouth shut (i'm sure you'd appreciate that). You probably have some perfectly logical views in conjunction with your religion/personal experiences/etc Torog, the fact you choose to share them in the way you do doesn't make you seem like the nicest guy. Nope..I haven't been to England,I do have some distant relatives there,but I doubt that I'll ever go and visit them. ahh yes, and through substitution you fear gays. They are not trying to hurt your traditional families, but just be excepted. I am 29, served as a interpreter for the military for four years. Born ins louisiana. so dont say I dont know what all of this shit is. My family left the south because we got crosses spray painted all over our house. :(

You know what I find funny and weird? The way you label everyone a 'Liberal' just because they don't condone war, hate Muslims, hate homosexuals, and love Bush. If, in your opinion, that is the definition of a Liberal, then i'm proud to be one. At the end of the day, i'm the one who's going to be able to live happily in a multicultural society, and focus my attention on things that are important such as Peace, Love, Unity and Understanding, as opposed to hate, violence, and prejudism.

One more point on this whole Liberal thing; I don't call myself a Liberal simply because I have my own opinions and my own views, and would rather not be pidgeon-holed under one category. But like I said, if that's your definition of a Liberal (somebody who doesn't condone hate, somebody who doesn't hate people just because of their sexual orientation, race or religion), and I had to be classed as one or the other, then I would call myself a Liberal without a doubt.

What y'all liberals don't seem to understand,is that there is no need to spend money on social programs..if our country is laid waste..because we didn't believe in having a strong military,to defend our Freedom and lives..defense first-social engineering-second..that should be simple enough for anyone to understand.

Someday,when you grow up and have a family,you will want them to be safe-social programs won't do that-only a strong military will..and the certain knowledge--that the Tree of Liberty..must be refreshed..with the blood of tryannts and patriots..from time to time..such ,is the Human condition.

If you're American,then your confusion about why America is unique and the best nation,is probably because of self-loathing,America hating,liberal teachers,who have not taught you that America is great-because we were founded on the principle of individual rights.

If your British,then it's easy to understand your confusion,as your country was founded on the superiority of the royal class, over that of the individual. Of course, I didn't even add all the stupid labels that people must belong to. According to him, each and every one of us has to display our colors on our sleeves, or else we're weenies.
