That's an interesting prospect.
Right now I am going for Dental Assisting but my actual Dental classes don't start until next fall. Now I'm taking the pre-requisite classes (Biology, Psych, Writing, and math).
I just want to do something where I feel fulfilled. I have the grades and smarts to do anything it's just that I'm broke and I had to pick a course where I could graduate and immediently start a job.
I think that's a good choice. That's something that will open up doors for jobs and earning good money, and if the political interest is there you can always get involved and see if doors open up for that along the way. I'm a big advocate of picking a degree or major out of "practicality" versus just pure interest.Quote:

You make a good point. I think maybe Wednesday when I go back to class I'll stop by the student development office and maybe just talk with an adviser about my political ideas.
Maybe she/he can hammer out the details for me.
