a 'phony-ass liar' will win, regardless of party affiliation :wtf:, and Obama was toast even before McCain picked Palin :D ... Obama will go down in flames, watch and see ... (just this old fart's opinion, of course)

i was kinda shocked that they chose her because repbs. cried about the race cards and obama's inexperience. and they pull the gender card with an inexperienced unknown person. Seems pretty transparent to me. lets just say I added another reason to be disappointed at what my voter registration card says! and Im even more thoroughly convinced that the two party system is a sham and not healthy for America!
Is Palin running for President? No, McCain is and HE DOES have the experience needed for THAT position. As for Obama, when the phone rings at 3:00A.M. is Biden going to answer it? I sure hope so with Obama's "so called" experience for his stint in the state legislature and his limited time in Senate.Quote:

You just know that Bill and Hillary are laughing their asses off at Obama right now.
Oh yeah, PLEASE bump the thread......LOL.....I'll find it most amusing.:D
Have a good one!:s4:
Things have not looked this good for the republicans in a long time...
I like her and I'll be glad to vote for McCain/Palin.
I always wanted to vote for a woman but couldn't grit my teeth long enough to even fathom Clinton. A strong Republican woman is a fantastic pick!
It seems like Sarah Palin completely negates the experience argument against Obama, which is really the only argument that was getting any traction against him. If the experience issue was really that important to the McCain campaign, then why did they get someone with such thin experience? A year and a half as governor, not even one full 2-year term yet? And mayor of a small town before that?
That's surprising. The Obama campaign must be pleased about that.
And this is not going to pull the Hillary voters in. Hillary supporters were not just voting for a vagina. Hell, we've had a pair of boobs in the White House for 8 years, and you can be sure the Hillary voters were not supporting them. It's not about anatomy. They supported Hillary on issues, and Palin could not be farther away from Hillary on issues. They supported Hillary because she was qualified and was a woman who got so close to being nominated in a hard fought campaign, a woman who earned consideration. She wasn't lifted out of nowhere and offered up as a token female to draw in female voters. Certainly Palin is no where near as qualified to be president as Hillary was. It may well be insulting to Hillary voters if that is what this play is about.
The one thing she does bring is appeal to conservatives. I was hoping McCain would not have to pander to the evangelicals and pro-life social conservatives. That is the part of the Republican party that I cannot stand. But she might appeal to tha faction.
She is such an unknown that we'll have to spend some time finding out who she is and what her qualifications are. Has she ever been out of the country? Does she have any economic experience? Any national security experience?
McCain is 72 today, has a history of cancer, and he has a real chance of dying in office. This should have been a more serious choice.
It's far too early to say, but I think Sarah Palin may have been a bad choice.
Obama has an equal if not bigger chance of being knocked off/dying in office! And who does he pick? Biden!?Quote:

Hey P4B Bill was gov for 2 terms and in poltics longer than she was. She only been Gov for 2 years. If Mccain kicks the bucket in office are you willing to let someone with NOOOOOOOO Experiance at all run this country. Im not gonna bet my kids future on it. And if you think Hiilarys supporters are going to vote for McCain and Palin because she's a woman your wrong they where voting for clinton because she has the experiance to lead.Im a tell you this If Hillary had won the primary and Im a strong supporter of Obama I would still cast my vote for Hillary. And to all those who vote for McCain and say they are Democrats I call BS you where never Democrats you where Repubilcans in sheeps clothing.:rasta::rastasmoke::pimp:Quote:
