""""I would also like to know what specifically in his speech is going to have any significant impact on America say 45 years from now. The answer, nothing.
I would like to know whom he defines as "middle class", it's also worth pointing out, the top 3% of income earners in the U.S., pay 97% of all the income taxes. So apparently they aren't paying their fair share huh? OK.
I think as far as Obama's safety is concerned, you should worry about the racists in the Dixiecrat, oh I mean Democrat party.
I wonder what libs will do when Bush is gone and completely out of the picture. How will they respond to the tough questions when they can't invoke what they percieve as the "evils of Bush" in any debate no matter the topic.
Oh, there I go again assuming the people that do this now would even comprehend that doing so is completely out of a position of weakness, of course they will just keep doing it! Silly me!""""""
I agree with the last sentence in this above post.
First of all, it was a speech, its what comes after the speech that will have an impact on the US in 45 years. Until he is elected he cannot create more jobs in the United States, sending more children to college..etc etc. So not really sure what you are saying.?
Since numbers are being used to draw conclusions, we would need more info to make a reasonable conclusion. Like what percentage of total income earned in the United States are these 3% earning? That may give an idea as to why they are carrying the majority of the burden.
As far as wondering about perceived evils of Bush...that is not an original method of avoiding the facts i laid out. Commonly seen avoidance technique. They teach that one on the Fox News Channel.
