If you didn't know there was ethanol in your gas it is your fault, since there is a sticker on every pump that has ethanol added. But I do agree with 1 thing. Ethanol sucks:D

Again sorry to hear about your car. To me ethanol wearing on rubber parts of a car is common sense, but I've been working on cars since I was a teenager so I can't really judge accurately on this. All I can say is that cars break down. It's a shame that it happened due to a government regulation change but shit happens. Hardly a reason to hate your country.
The drug war is senseless but it's not responsible for the current price of products or your car breaking down. Yes to answer your question I have been arrested on more than one occassion. I've gone to jail neither time because I hired a very strong armed lawyer.
It's obvious that you are speaking out of things that have happened to you that make you angry and you don't so much seem to be speaking out of concern for America. I'm sorry but this upsets me. I have gone through an equal amount of crap or more and I put my personal selfish angers aside and try to envision what is best for my country. Instead of being angry about the price of milk, about gas, about everything that's going on I try to think of ways that we could improve it and vote at the local, state and federal level to try to put people into power with my ideals.
Instead of being angry why don't you try to make a change. There is plenty I am upset about but I only think about how to fix/improve what we have and I vote in that direction.

I do love America. America has always been capitalist by nature and I don't understand why people always insist it's being run by Big Business. When the government and nation were founded it was designed to remain a small government allowing most power to the people of the United States.
It was set up to rely on people and businesses to take care of the majority of their own needs. The government was never meant to control the businesses. Therefore it's hard to say that businesses are running the government. Now if you want to say that businesses are bribing people in the senate then absolutely!! yes I could not deny this even if I wanted to. As far as marijuana being illegal because of it's threat to pharmaceutical companies... I don't believe that's why it's illegal but I agree that Marijuana should be available to all.

Can you prove that? And even if you can here's an Idea........ Don't Smoke! People already know it's bad for you on it's own. If you think it's grown in radioactive soil then there you go.. one more reason not to smoke.
You have the right to CHOOSE to NOT smoke. It's a free country.

No, you missed the concept that I didn't care because it only effected you. And I'm not sure how you didn't know it was there. All fuel pumps are required by law to label their pumps as containing 10% ethanol. There's a big damn yellow sign on every pump I fill up at.
You seem to be still stuck on yourself and not looking at the future for the country. How many other cars do you know that have messed up? Personally I don't know of any myself.
Yes ethanol is bad for rubber seals but unless your car is a POS rust bucket the amount of wear 10% ethanol has on rubber parts in the motor is negligible. So if your car is barely holding on then yes.. maybe ethanol was the cause of your car breaking. If your car was somewhat recent (from the 1990's) and maintained then perhaps your car broke due to wear and tear/manufacturer issues.
Either way you are taking a problem that happened to you personally and trying to apply it to the government. This did not happen to everyone, it probably did not even happen to 5% of the population.

Well I would hope you would. If we get invaded I would hope you wouldn't sit by idle as people started shooting at you. Honestly you wouldn't have much of a choice. But being angry at your government for selfish petty reasons is not patriotic either. If you will defend your country from invasion then why don't you actively defend your nation for itself.
You have the ability to change the course of your country. Lobby enough support, be active, think of ways to improve your nation and find officials who support your ideals.

There weren't stickers on our pumps until July 1st, so no, it wasn't my fault, I didn't know until they said it on the news, slick.
