hendrix is my fav of the deads, but i'd bring none of em back. i'm not a religious man but i do believe death happens for a reason we can't understand and never will. hendrix is the innovator the king of electric guitar, king of blues rock king of psychadelic music king of improv jamming. he had the riff the solo. he is why women want to fuck rockstars. he is the most important electric guitar player ever, other than the guy who invented he might be the most important guitar player ever. and the best part is his skill matches his influence, unlike a lot of people who were hugely influential but not much skill.
