Hey SnS This guy gives a lot of good advice and he can back it up!!!! Read the guy who is advising him..

One key to SCROG is light penetration. Pay attention to it. Also using a 1x2 opening you should do great. Big enough to make it easy, tight enough to support the ladies. I got some stucco repair screen thingee at De Pot and it worked perfect.
Also don't tie them down too long; I made that mistake in Flower and I got a bunch of leafy bud and it sucked. It smoked just the same but looked like crap and was a slight bummer. At any rate, I'm following the thread 2x week and I'll try to be there for ya Amigo.
Later Whiskey.

thanks for coachin MVP:jointsmile:...what do ya mean tie em down too long....should i start weaving them in at like 6 in tall? or wait for them to get bigger....i was gonna put the screen 8in above the 3 gal pots....2 plants, diagonal to each other on the footprint, with something depot macgyvered for the screen....suggestions?

He and Opie are who I'd be getting my info from.....;)
For the record, I have gone with SCROG when using clones but not seeds. That said and assuming similar expected results, here are some thoughts.
Place the screen 8-12 inches above the pots. I topped mine just before placing the screen in the room to get them bushy.
Choose a screen with 1 in x 2 in or 2 in x 2 in openings. I used a wire screen but next time I'll try the plastic animal fencing stuff. Some people actually tie a screen out of string or masonry twine. Just make sure the openings are not too small.
Weave them through the screen during veg and the first 2 weeks or so of flower, but after that stop messing with them. (I tied them back into the 4 week range and they got leafy on me). In other words don't be afraid to let them stretch after 2-3 weeks of 12/12.
That's about the basics as I know it. Maybe Opie has additional keys for ya. Let em know what else is on your mind...
thanks MVP....noted:jointsmile::thumbsup:

2 broke dirt...nothing else to report....if the other 2 break as well, they will go in the other room...think Ill just use 2 for the SCROG.....BONG

single true leaves laying nice and flat...second set peekin...thats it i guess...no yellowing like i have had in the other room....hmmm...only difference is the portable A/C....something to look into maybe? Im not sure that it puts anything harmful out, being that its supposed to be safe in a room with us breathing it all day...looking for a plastic screenish thing...1x2 sounds perfect MVP...loved the pics you have too...made planning this a lot easier with a visual...lol

Don't waste your money on a portable A/C IMO they are a waste. Unless you want half the amount that the box reads. I had a 12,500 Btu. Did not do shit I put in one 1100 Btu wall unit big HUGE difference. I setup a room for a buddy about 8Yrs ago and what we did was just run an exhaust with the room being cool. The only downside is you blow out all the cold air so the A/C runs constant....
