Is my plant sick? Purple stems? check out pics>>>

I have both Veg and Flower in the same room, they face each other. I have a black plastic curtain that i roll up when the flower lights come on to improve airflow/heat/etc. and roll back down when the lights go off to block it from the longer light of the veg side. It's been great so far. If anything the veggie's love the little bit of red/orange spectrum from the HPS in addition to the blue spectrum of the Veg Fluoros.

I'd say it's ok to let your lights hit both veg and flower during lights on, but during lights off you better make sure they are separated really well.

ya for sure. thanks alot! but how do you control temp and humidity on the veg side, when the curtain is down after dark for flower side? thats kinda what im thinking about now. it might get to hot/humid. my flower side has a door nxt to it that i can leave open. also i just got my cannazym today and added about 1tsp to each bucket(1.5-1.75gal). they look beautiful now hopefully i see some results. have pics up in a couple days. thanks for advice skeet

Well, during the summer i have no problem with controlling heat during lights off...it's when the lights are on that's the problem!!!

During the winter i have an oil filled space heater (the little radiator lookin things...) to keep it 72F when lights are off. when the lights are on they put out enough heat to keep it warm in there.

I'm still trying to get my humidity under control. Looking into a dehumidifier or AC to keep temps and humidity down.

no no my roommate started the thread :thumbsup: ya so my air cooler isnt the greatest. im prob just gonna put that in my room. im looking into portable a/c's on craigslist. pretty expensive. my temp is 78-86f and rh is 55-60. so im not in too bad of shape. plus i still have a nother month till flowering starts. craigslist has the a/c's but they are a hot commodity.

yeah. you are in a better spot than i am at the moment.

My temps go from 72-89 and RH goes from 50% when lights are on to 82% when lights are off!!!! i'm just waiting to see my entire crop go to rot!!!!!!!!

I need to get a Dehumidifier ASAP. I was gonna try a lot of Calcium Chloride (the stuff damp-rid is made of) and see if that was a cheaper solution. i just haven't gotten out to the pool store to get it.

We;re a one car family and i'm currently sitting at work (been here 13 hours now today...just waitin for the wife to get out of work and pick me up!!! Good thing i have this board to keep me busy)

Check out the hail we had today...crazy! everyone who had their car in the lot has golfball sized dents in their cars. lucky i didn't have the car!
