I think that you will see improvement now that your res is approaching the correct temperature. You should be running it at a comfortable room temperature, and 60'F was WAY too low, brr!

Thanks...water's right, so all I can do at this point is keep the PH good and cross my fingers.
And yes, I meant 18 hours light, 6 hours dark...
Will post pics if they get any better. Thanks all for your help!

I'm definitely with Stinky and your hydro man......60F is WAY too low.....yep that could have a LOT of effect on your plants.
I'm not unhappy with the way they look consdering the issues......I'd go VERY slowly in upping nutes and give them a few days between each change (about 48 hours) to make sure they aren't going to have a bad reaction.
...will do weedhound...bumped up the ec to .9, water temp and PH are just where they should be...will wait 48 hours, and see what happens...apologies for not mentioning the icy conditions of the water earlier...being new to all this, it didn't really strike me that might be an issue as silly as that sounds! will post pics sunday...
again, many thanks!

...well....thanks everyone! As I hope is clear from the pics below, new leaf growth is a lovely green, and all is well with the girls after many hiccups:thumbsup:...my only questions at this point are:
1. Can I put them on 12/12 now, or should I give them one more week just to be safe? (I'm hesitant to do this though as I don't want them to get too tall, but I did succesfully supercrop my last grow so I guess I can do that again).
2. Would you recommend pruning off some (like, two sets of) the extra-yellow, dry leaves below the nice new green growth or should I just leave the girls alone?
I'm so glad I signed up to this forum!

hey I've had the same problem as you pretty much. Sometimes it manifests at the tips, and sometimes around the edges, depending on PH, water content, nute content..
my PH is 7 a lot now :( which has me worried, I've been giving nutes to try and make the soil acidic.. not working (yet).

I am in the presents of those posessing information and wisdom, thanks.
You can put them into flower if you want. If you have a height issue than you should be cognizant of that for sure.
