Possible mold on mah stash!

its not the same as eating rotten meat dude anything your inhaling is BURNT and DEAD name 1 living thing that can survive being totally combusted in a fire? ive done it before i didnt get sick and i got a buddy who smokes mouldy buds often because all he does is blaze free weed n hes not pickey at all IMO personal experiance beats research hands down im not sayin its good im not sayin smoke it im sayin its highly unlikely that smoke containing burnt mold spores will cause you any harm ud b surprised at how many things people think are gross wont actually make u sick when i was in rehab/wilderness therapy our food literally had dirt in it 1/2 the time we cooked it on open fires with nothing but sticks off the forest floor as utensils and look at blue cheese what do u see? hmmm mold? lol and what do u think growers make there oil from? hmmmm? buds that went to mold and shwag and everythin elese that nobody wants to smoke as it is i wouldnt smoke it unless i had nothing elese have any of you who are sayin im givin bad advice n shit smoked moldy buds before? because i HAVE and here i am alive to tell the story call my advice garbage if u want but i speak from EXPERIANCE not speculation and research from the internet say what u want bout me lol but id b willing to bet quite a bit on the fact that you probably wouldnt suffer any ill effects from smokin moldy weed it just tastes like poo flame all u want lol i still think its not any more harmful then puting any other kind of smoke into your lungs any kind of smoke has harmful toxins maybe im wrong and im guna drop dead tomorrow from all these things

the amount of carsonegens and CHEMICALS from a house fire would be much much greater then from a bud that had some crap growin in it i smoked a moldy bud last week should i go get my lungs checked for mold to prove my point? i dont think thats worth it i duno why im still thinkin bout this now u got me paranoid maybe its infected my brain lmao ive heard of people cutting honey oil with black trash bags and look at that soap bar crud they smoke in europe im sorry if im wrong but thats my experiance with mold buds n im done talkin now

Bro, it's not exactly a great idea to chill with a house fire blazing all around you, just breathing in the carcinogens. Normally, most sane people would realize that they needed to get the hell out of this environment, and get to fresh air.

The point is, there are more risks posed by smoking moldy buds than there are by smoking non-moldy buds. This shouldn't be an issue, it should be common sense. Hell, just the act of igniting buds and inhaling the smoke isn't good for you. Compound that little tidbit with the fact that the buds are covered in some nasty moldy shit, and you might just have yourself a problem. Lots of folks in this thread offered alternatives, and the general consensus is NOT to smoke moldy buds. Don't take it as a personal attack, take it as advice for you and your buddy who have been smoking this shit, too. Don't tell people to research it on the internet, because common sense generally prevents people from questioning it in the first place. If you find a legitimate and reputable site that says smoking mold is not a problem, throw up a link. Until then, most everybody agrees that it's a bad idea.

And, don't get offended by this, but try to start throwing some periods and commas into these posts of yours. It makes it very difficult to read when every point you try to make just runs into one another. Punctuation almost always makes things seem more logical, which is generally a plus for whoever is flying off the handle.

Hahahaha, who likes respiratory infections? Better toke up and go buy some Mucinex and an inhaler. Just get a bottle of 151 or Everclear and save your lungs. Smoking any molded substance is bad news bears, whether tobacco or buds. After battling respiratory congestion from too much middies, I urge you to just make a tincture and be done with that bud.

i believe molds release harmful toxins as a way to fight other molds?
so if there were multiple molds on the bud, and you were to smoke it, you could potentially be inhaling those toxins.

it wasnt me who braught up the house fire thing. or the reasearch thing. n ur not the first to comment on the ranting lunatic way i express my thaughts lol i kno its often hard for people to understand what im tryin to say n i get frustrated sometimes but thats how my brain works. i think much faster then i can process it into words n i hafta get it out when its there or its replaced by somethin totally different that has nothin to do with what i was origionally trying to say. i loose my train of thaught its somethin i need to work on asserting myself in ways other people can understand gets me into trouble at times too its hard for me i got several mental disorders n i get totally off topic like right now im doin it again :( neway thanks 4 atleast tryin to make sence of my words lol n not bein a dick about it im allways open to constructive critisism as long as its presented in a respectfull manner im guna try to use more puncctuation n rant less when i post on here but change is never easy its a slow painful process lol take it easy every1

wow, what a great subject. i just recently got 1 p of moldy weed, i was pissed. the dude dropped it down $300 for me because of how moldy it was.

shit had white and yellow molds on it, and smelled like cat piss, or some kind of cleaner. it was rock hard too.

but it looked like it used to be some high quality shit before getting old. it was light green, with crazy red and orange hairs all in it... cuz, one bowl of it would get u real baked

not sure if i was getting high off the thc or the mold though, haha.

anyway ... my cure for moldy weed is to put it in a couple of mason jars, go peel the skin off fresh oranges, throw the orange peels in with the weed in your mason jar. then close the lid and let set in a dark, cool spot for about 4 hours, and go check on it. make sure you let the buds dry properly before closing the lid on them again, otherwise you will just get more mold. after doing this a couple of times, your buds should be a lot softer, and have A LOT better smell, and A LOT better taste.

i mean if u have to get rid of it, just warn people its a bit moldy, and let them make their own decision. thats what i did, and people were actually choosing the moldy shit over the fresh, fruity tasting shit..just cuz the moldier shit got you way more stoned.

and after doing that too.. just hang on to that moldy batch...go get a new fresh batch, and just mix the 2 together.

haha what an interesting idea. I'll definitely think of that. I was actually thinking of doing some green dragon stuff cuz I have 80% pure orange extract. I've also smoked the weed a little more and it gets you realy fucked with gravity bong hits, but it tastes gross.
