Rotating Stand for Growroom- and ensuing discussion of wheelchair access
Have you tried a scooter? scooters are great to put plants on when you need them to be mobile. I use a wheelchair too because of my muscular dystrophy, I have several aerogards on scooters. I do have one rotating stand though, it doesnt have any identification on it though so I wouldn't know where to look to buy one, maybe at walmart or at a plant store? Possibly ebay? really though, my scooters work just fine, and I can't walk into tight spaces, lift potted plants or any of that fancy stuff a lot of people tend to take for granted so I'd say a scooter's wheelchair friendly, cheep enough too since theyre mostly sold as children's toys.

I had a similar issue with space...I made a base out of 2x12s (to get them off the floor) the base was 24 in x36 in rectangle topped with a piece of smooth osb plywood. I then made a tray that was 36in x 48in made out of 2x4s and osb plywood. I lined the tray with poly, prior to lining the tray I drilled a hole (1/4in) through the center of both the tray and the base then inserted a small 1/4in bolt long enough to penetrate through both layers of plywood. now you have a rotating table (manual of course). I've to figure out how to power it (but i will) Good luck...

Also has this ever been tried?
We MacGyvered one from some casters and an old cable spool for a friend of mine , we set it in a kiddy pool , has room for four to six plants depending on pot size and he can get his chair right up close and rotate the spool to get to each plant..

Hey folks, lost my spine and have to invert the dominant paradigm. This came to me, no kidding, in a dream. Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite" was playing in the background. Let's see if I can get to the point. Height isn't an issue and I'm growing six 5' trees in my imagination (yes I have a friend or 2). The 6 Cannabis trees are in a circle with a flexible diameter, say 3 feet or so. Here's the problem I have, that everyone seems to have. Each tree has to slowly rotate on its vertical axis (the axis perpendicular to the plane of the earth). Each tree needs to rotate once every 12-18 hrs, be motorized and work off a timer. I love this device:
Attachment 290186 but it still needs to be motorized like a tuntable or a lazy man's Lazy Susan. A 1000W Hydrofarm Cool Tube 8" Reflector or something similar will be dropped dead-center half way down the middle of the open cylinder defined by the 6 trees with 18' of radial play at all times as it throws out its omnidirectional photons at the slowly oscillating trees. I'm leaving out a million details from cooling to activated charcoal to CO2 to a screened in cylindrical SCROG Attachment 290195. Suspended above the trees in a circle 120 degrees apart and inclined in will be three 400W Diamond Series LEDs - Extreme 3w LED panels, inclined inward and down, jettisoning its mono-directional photons straight from its diodes.
I have the whole thing figured our except how to motorize my Lazy Susan contraption.
Thoughts?

Im lazy, I like sitting on my stool,,, and rotate a 60" table that I put 4 of those furniture dollys on, with a block of wood on a bar stool rotator thingy right in the middle,Attachment 290247 works great, I don't get off my mechanics stool all night sometimes, just roll from table to table. I have 19, 3 gallon pots on one table,Attachment 290248 so this makes hand watering very easy. hope this gives everybody a couple ideas.
