Mystery indica hempy buckets grow

up to 800ppm. Looked like maybe beginning signs of iron deficiency so i decided to water with GH hydro nutes, 10-5-14, had a little bit more iron than the peter's, and a couple of other things i thought it might benefit from. I figure people get sick of eating the same crap all the time, why not plants?

Two confirmed females, Two confirmed males, Two unknown gender

I put the males outside the light radius so the girls can get more light. I can't bring myself to kill them. I'll just let them sit there until its completely obvious and i'm forced to kill them

One of the last two showed their sex.. FEMALE. Giving me 3/6 confirmed females. 50% not too bad

Four plants, Only one unknown, looks like its leaning towards female too!

I stuck two ladies and the unknown into the flowering chamber yesterday, leaving the best looking female to become the new hempy mama

(Look how many blades are on that leaf! :) I'm thinking it'll eventually make 13 bladed leaves)

Been a long time since an update :P

So in the beginning I started 6 seeds, and now i have the results of them all.
Three were 100% female, two were male, and one was a freak and ended up being a hermaphrodite, I couldn't kill it so I put it in an upstairs bedroom to get natural sunlight and continue to flower (hope that works... lol)

So since I'm keeping a mother of the best, I currently have two females flowering, 14 days into 12/12. I think they look alright for 2 weeks! right?


The only thing that is wrong, is a couple bud sites on both of the plants have some really whacky yellowing going on. I think it could be from being too close to the HPS, because the buds stretched pretty close to it before I raised it.

When I noticed the yellowing, I started adding 1/2tsp per gallon of cal-mag+ to the nutrient mix, which was just Maxibloom (5-15-14), using about 1/2 tsp per gallon of that as well, which is half strength of the bottle dosage.

So with the 1/2tsp cal-mag, and the 1/2tsp of maxibloom, starting with tap water at 200ppm-- I get a total ppm of about 800.

So hempy growers...!

My plants are about 1.5' tall, 14 days in. What ppm has your nutrient mix been at this stage? is 800ppm too low do you figure? ... and

what does the yellowing look like to you guys?

and lastly, how do they look for 2 weeks? (everyones gotta ask)

just trimmed off three lowest bud branches on one of the girls to concentrate the energy to the other top buds... hopefully it will resume from the shock in a couple days

believe it or not im kinda high! 15 days flowering im kinda high i cant wait another 40 days. I think this must be karma for the tropical sativa last grow, which, sucked ass in every single fathomable way.

I guess I like doing things late.. with the last plant i put in the screen a couple weeks into flowering instead of letting it fill up in veg, and now same with these two

The mom's doing really well! I've been feeding at about 500ppm, but the runoff is 800. Watering at 6.0-6.2pH, but runoff is 5.8 .. Doesn't seem to be affecting her, but I'll probably end up flushing till I can get the runoff the same as the feeding. Going to air layer layer her in a little over a week so I'll have a batch of clones waiting for when the girls finish flowering.


When I started this seed (the mom) It looked 100% indica but now, as its older, it doesn't really look completely indica anymore does it?


I know this is a pretty impossible question but..
Can anyone tell me *anything* about this plant based on how it looks?
Mostly sativa/indica? A strain you've grown that it reminds you of? The 2 Girls in flower right now are from the same batch of seeds as the mother plant, also I know it sounds weird but it smells kind of like.. italian sausage with a little orange juice spilled on it.

The 900-1000ppm was kind of on the extremely high side. The runt ate it up and looks great, but the sativa phenotype plant has a couple bud sites with that look curled from too much nitrogen

Now, i've been using like 1/4tsp of the maxibloom, and a 1/2tsp of kool bloom per gallon.
Flushed both of them, and tested the water after the flushing, The runt was 1400+ ppm on the runoff, and the sativa pheno plant was 1100+ ppm.

Now after the flush, and lowering the nutes a lot, I've dropped the runts runoff from 1400 to 900ppm, but could only make the sativa pheno's runoff 900ppm from 1100.
I'm sure the runt can handle it, because it has nice buds that are getting pretty big, but the other plant I'm shooting for 600ppm on the runoff.

Only 1 more week of nitrogen for them, then a week and a half of straight kool bloom, and then a 10 day flush. When its put that way, It doesn't seem like forever Hopefully the trichs will be to my liking by then.
