no hairs aren't to trichy, just pull a small bud or trichy leaf and look at it. you can even look at it still on the plant.
i use the radio shack scope to it works well.
Hair color is meaningless.
What you are looking for looks like little clear mushrooms.
Then they'll turn cloudy, then they will start to turn amber.
That's when I harvest.
ya, maybe a pic will help you out.
my cam doesn't do macro that well but here's a pic. the hairs are the long drown things the bud is the purple veg and the leafs are the green things.
the trich's are the things all over.

They will always look white to the naked eye.
Be sure to check trich's under fluorescent or metal halide light, not under HPS. The color of the HPS light can disguise the amber trich's and fool you into waiting longer than necessary.
Hey take it from me, post everything you can about your system, timeline and everything you've done. The experience here can help you A LOT if you provide info..pics too. Just trying to help.
Stinky posted a form that may help you now let me find the link...
are they alwasy mushroom shaped or do they mushroom up later in flowering
They are always more or less mushroom shaped, with the heads getting larger as time goes by and the weed gets stronger.Quote:
