whats the genotype?
We try to keep the pH at 5.8. Without using the recirculating system, the 5-gallon tub moves up about .2-.4 a day, so I usually drop it to 5.6, let it rise to 6, and then repeat. Starting around week 4-5, we will drop the pH to about 5.4 to get more of the important flowering nutrients.Quote:

Usually, we use H2O2 (35%) as a supplemental source of oxygen at about 3ml per gallon of water (so 15ml for the 5 gallon rez), twice weekly. Because of the recent fungus gnat problem, we've upped it to about 4-5ml per gallon, every single day. There was a while that I didn't go to my friend's house, trusting that he was keeping everything in good shape. When I went to help him change out the reservoir one day, there must have been a thousand fungus gnat larvae. He had been keeping plant-scrap material in the flowering room which gave the gnats a base to start breeding.... that's what I get for slacking and being lazy.
I mentioned in an earlier post that these things have stretched hard, and oh, have they stretched. They started at 4-6" and 2.5 weeks later are all at about 36". Because of this, we have to deconstruct the shelving system they are on and make some adjustments. As of now, the colas are smack against the glass for the HPS hood. Luckily, being air-cooled, it's not too much of a problem, but it's becoming one.
On a final note, Weedhound, what do you use for a PK booster in bloom? It's been years since I've had anything to do with a grow and I have never used a bloom booster. I know you run a nice hydro setup, so whats the deal?
Hmmmm, phenotype maybe? Whether genotype or phenotype, I don't know. I don't know enough about the parents to make a call, but I would suspect that these clones' mother was the blueberry pheno growth-wise. She was a very indica-dominant plant, with much of the purples and reds from the blueberry side. I'm curious which of the two it will follow bud-wise, but will have to wait and see..... sigh.Quote:

I probably WOULDNT tell you to use the hydroplex unless you are using the whole Botanicare series. ;) Pretty helpful so aren't you glad you asked? :D
Ha ha, already banging on the glass are they? Hope you don't go over there one day and find they've swallowed your light altogether....OR.......your FRIEND!
To be honest, I may end up using the Hydroplex as you did because the local shop carries tons of Botanicare. I was going to use Canna PK 13/14 because I've never seen anyone say anything bad about it, but I think I may opt for something else. I'm heading over the shop tomorrow and I'm gonna pick the owner's brain until it bleeds :) Hopefully, it will pay off.Quote:
