HC, welcome to the log. I'm doing the best I can with what I got. Pull up a chair and pack one, we got a ways to go yet but it will be a good time.
Quick update on the little ladies. They are now 3 weeks into flower and perking up quite nicely. From the 4 clones, I have 9 colas developing that have reached the height of the upper screen.
Nute Numbers:
5.0 gal RO water = 12 PPM
+ 2ml/gal Zone = 12 PPM
+ 10 ml/gal EJ Microblast = 162 PPM
+ 15 ml/gal CalMag = 800 PPM
+ 15 ml/gal PBP Bloom = 1415 PPM
+ 1.0 gal RO water = 1190 PPM
---------------------------------
Added 3 gallons to each res, adjusted PH to 5.8
Here are a few pics from last week showing their growth and the 6x 23W CFLs that I added to increase light intensity. The black things on the upper screen are cable ties (aka zip ties) that I used to piece the screen together from old scrap lying around...
they look very happy! Good work MVP.
Checked them and their PH and PPM had moved a bit since the nute change. I noticed that they each drank down over 1/2 gal of water. I adjusted the PH and left PPM alone. Here is where the stand now:
Red (Left bubbler) = 5.8 PH, 1145 PPM
Toots (Right bubbler) = 5.7 PH, 1228 PPM.
Here are photos from an hour ago. They are starting to frost up and look like fine young ladies. They do, however, have 35-40 days to go until they can even THINK of the "H" word...

looks great!, btw, thanks for the reply, was starting to disbelieve in this site
Mvp....was the question whether to increase the ppms on these or? I got lost between that thread and this one.....:stoned:
Last night I flushed the res with FloraKleen and now I'm heading down the home stretch in February. If all proceeds as planned, they will be cut down and drying between 2/19 - 2/26 sometime. They are now on fresh nutes and starting to swell up real nice.
Here are some random pics from last week.....

Yes that is a turkey roasting pan cut in half as a hood for the CFLs. Its purpose is to keep the glare out of my eyes; I don't expect it to reflect light to increase yield. If it happens to then it is purely a bonus...

Not worried about hot spots? I don't know if a cfl could throw a hot spot really.....
That's exactly my thought... Couldn't have put it any better.Quote:
