just drop the sees into a cup of water until they sink, and split open, then put them into the paper towel. I have had 100% Germination rate doing this, has yet to fail. Also its faster as well, if the seeds are good.
I found that some of my seeds were really dark. I think its usually a good sign that the seed is healthy.
well ive been changing the water every 2 days and i still have that one going but i also have on in the soil and i give it a little spray out of my water sprayer thingy every 2 days not to make it soaking wet but nice a sprayed :) with distilled water.
Yay good news. 7 Days later the black seed finnaly cracked and i can see a little white thing sticking out!
itll grow fine started in soil. i have done that successfully with 8/11 seeds. (the 3 that didnt grow didnt start using the towel method either).
saves the stress of moving the little roots and seeds about and jamming it too had in soil.
the seed has cracked and i can see the root but it's been about 1.5 days and the root is still sitting there with the root just inside the seed.
That's usually the point I start getting the pots ready. The longer you let the tap root grow, the more chance of doing damage when planting them. I only bury them as deep as the seed is big. (1/8" seed, bury it 1/8" deep...)
Good job with being patient. I've tossed many that I thought were beyond help, just to find them later, growing in my trash can. (doh)
great...I just found a seed In a gram of Mr.NiceGuy I found, I started Germin it 2 days ago and its gonna be great....post some pix after ur seeds start sprouting....what strain is it BTW?
