Help me quit - im screwin up bad

One word: Alcohol, for a variety of reasons:

1) Chicks your age dig guys who can get alcohol
2) It'll loosen things up among your seemingly uptight friends
3) Youll like the feeling that drunkenness gives you, making you much funnier and smooth around the girl
4) You may realize that you like being drunk over high anyways, smoking truthfully isn't for everyone
5) Easy vagina; You'll forget about the mj-hating bitch within weeks, you'll meet a nice chick who likes to toke, and you'll fall in love

If you are getting a mental adiction then your mind is week. If you cant say oh I shouldnt have that 5th peice of cake you mind is week. I think no one likes you when your baked cause you bring them down. Their is no such thing as Marijuana addiction. If you think their is then you dont know what addiction is. Your problem is your a creature of habit and you cant break your habbits. Its not that you go off and smoke with your friend its you chose to go off with your friends and smoke. Im willing to bet money nothing is ever your fault, its always a situation or cercumstances, or bad luck. In life timing is everything, if you cant even get down your own timing you are not gonna get down anyone elses timing. YOu need to focus on somthing eles , like the girl why dont you have threads about her, why or what can I do to woo or get this girl. WEED IS NOT THE PROBLEM YOU ARE. Look at your name bra. why would you ever choose to go home and get stoned, I think you need to quite smokeing herb but that is the least of the problem. But admitting to it is the biggest step now you have to make an effort to change.

Im really interested in this girl but whenever I hang around her I go and get high with my friends and then she leaves to go with some other friends or guys to hang out.

EDIT: I almost got caught by the cops. We were rolling a fatty when they rolled up and asked what we were doing. We barely got away. Its not even worth it.

Folks like you who claim their lives are falling apart because of a weed, need to own up to their responsibilities. If your smoking is CAUSING stress in your life...WTF? QUIT.

You can die from quitting heroin. Before you say you're "addicted" think twice. How about you look at yourself as a person instead of blaming cannabis. If you stop you won't die, hell... you will probally feel really good and sober. I smoke every day and take breaks now and then but I would stop immediately if my life seemed to be wrecked. You need to fix shit up before you start blazing hardcore again.

If you're trying to get with a girl who doesn't like getting stoned or isn't even pot friendly then you shouldn't smoke around her. Do you expect her to come crawling to you if you go smoke pot with your friends and ditch her? Damn. As for your friends, if you're a stoner you should have a good group of stoner friends you can smoke with and always rely on. My best friends are stoners and we all started smoking together before smoking pot was the norm in our age group. I've done tons of embarassing/weird stuff while high but my friends and I always laugh it off.

I'm sorry, but this was the most unintentionally funny posts I've ever read in these forums.

But good luck to you, and I would agree that you're probably hanging with the wrong crowd. I used to do it myself, but now I usually only smoke by myself or with good friends that I trust.

I also feel that you're getting high all the time as an excuse to avoid contact with her because you're afraid of what might happen (ie rejection). You could even keep on toking, because I think the problem here is the underlying fear, the reason why he's getting high instead of getting laid is because he's hesitant about what's gonna happen.

This is probably a bad suggestion, but maybe a *little* bit of alcohol, just to loosen up, would be more helpful to you in this particular case. Well, it worked for me.

I know a guy that is a real dick when hes high... I think its true that the Inner person in you comes out when your high. Ive noticed that in myself specifically and I mature because of it.
