I flew about 10 times during my entire life... and LOVED it! When i was a child one thing i wished to be was a pilot... (or a astronaut hehe)... anyway... the thing i like most about flying is too see the clouds... i absolutely love the clouds, and being in middle of them, above them, feels like being in heaven... once i flew during BAD weather, and it was awesome... the gigantic clouds like huge misty towers, starting far below, and extending until far above the plane... and lots of lightning into and around they... too see the clouds being lighted from inside by lightning was amazing... and the best of all, i was very stoned, so the time passed slowww... and i could enjoy it even more... :stoned:
lots... traveled europe a few times, been around canada and mexico, easily half of the states here, and virtually all of california... probably 100 flights all together give or take... shit i'm only 18 though i've got a lot of more places to smoke out before i die :)
I've flown somewhere close to 200 times. That includes commercial, overseas and domestic, private small planes, and flying for work with the execs I used to write speeches for, journeys which were on small and medium-sized Lear and Canadair jets. I've also had ground school and 55 hours of my own flying time, but I'm not counting that in the 200 tally. The flying with my corporate executive bosses also involved a number of trips on nice helicopters, which I also love.
I flew for the first time when I was not quite 4 years old and so don't remember a time when I was ever afraid of it. I love being in the air, even when it's stormy or rough and the skies aren't so friendly. Love the sensations of taking off and landing--even turbulence. I've always--except for once when there was engine trouble on a little Cessna Caravan I was a passenger on--felt completely safe up there. Would like to spend more time studying flying sometime in the future and get my instrumentation rating, but I'm not sure I really need that. One of Dave's best buddies in the world owns a little aviation company here in Dallas and gets us anyplace we need or want to go.
Someday I'd like to learn how to fly gliders. That sounds like the epitome of aviation heaven to me.
About 50 times
I flew from the NorthI flew from Quebec to San Diego...a 12 hour 3 plane flight. It was cool!
I'm flying to my sister's place in baltimore tomorrow, it's been awhile since ive last flown the friendly skies. I'll chew some gum because my ears pop, kiss my cross to keep me and my family safe on our flight, order a drink and read the rest of the shining to pass the time. It will be good to get away from it all for awhile. I haven't been on a trip in forever.
I have flown 4 times round trip. 3 times to Vegas, one time to Atlanta.
I have acquired over 250k Advantage miles. So My guess is way too fucking much flying.
I generally flew to Cali or Florida every weekend for 7 years. plus some international flights and wabaam way too many flights.
Probably about 40+ commercial flights, longest flight was 16 hours and we had turbulence nearly the whole way lol
Flown a plane once for about an hour or so, damn fun :D wish i could get a pilots license but the lessons are a bit too expensive for me at the mo, one day....... ;)
