Speak for yourself, but I'm nearing the end of my twenties and never in the past 15 years could I have been even remotely described as a 'catty bitch'. None of my friends do the gossip thing either.
We simply don't give a shit. We have interesting lives of our own, and the best gossip is "Ooooh did you hear so-and-so found a source for pine tree nooks?" THAT'S gossip I can get down with.
The worst culprits I've found have generally been dumpy middle aged office-bots of both sexes, with no lives, who have every postcard ever sent to them pinned up over their desks to make it seem they lead far more interesting lives than the miserable cubicle-bound existence to which their lack of spark has doomed them ...

Gossip is just for people who wanna self lift themselves up by putting others down. Its the oldest fake of ego in the world.

I know it gets my into trouble, i have learned never listen to people about things, you are your own person who needs to figure out stuff on their own. You may need help so go forth and find it.
But listening to someone else is just like gossip. There is gossip on here because "Hello my name is stephanie and I smoke pot"
