Seems more than a little strange that you would consider needing help as urgent, then post on a forum and wait answers the first of which took 5 minutes to arrive. In any situation that may involve firearms and since you heard shots it was a reasonable assumption that a gun or guns were involved you really must learn to think and act a lot quicker than 5 minutes, why would anyone not immediately phone 911 in this situation ? Unless you had comlete body armour and were extremely profficient with your own weapon my advice would be call the police (which in the UK take on average about an hour or so to arrive) then lay low and hide. Better a live coward than dead hero.

Well whatever you do, just don't start shooting back at them
Situation is FUBAR, repeat, situation is FUBAR.

I can tell your going to fit in real nice around here...here is some+ rep...phoenix is a big ass city and it is hot as hell:)
Don't panic, they aren't shooting at you, obviously. You CAN call 911 if you REALLY want to, but it's probably not worth it. But then again, it's probably alot easier for me to say not to panic just because of a gunshot, I used to live in a pretty rough area. As long as they aren't shooting at you, don't worry about it.Quote:
