does weed go bad

I'd keep mine in a bag, inside a bag, usually in another bag, inside an airtight container.

I found a dimebag once while cleaning out my closet,it had to be at least years old.I took it out the bag and it instantly turned into dust.Being the pothead i am i still tryd to pack a bowl.tasted like shit though
