get a 400 watt...be plant seeds in a good aierated soil...watch the babies pop...apply fert regimine very lightly..(until you know your girls at least)...wait and be patient while in vegetation state..at least 30 i like 45 days though just cause..flower for 9 weeks and...WOW i never smoked something this good..."it's my own too"...................
lol..im high.. its worth it though..
smoke for free and make some money nothing can beat that bro!
You won't have a problem recovering your costs. Just think how much weed you smoke and what its worth for a lifetime of free access to pot. Even when yur an old man you can keep a few flowering buds in the nursing home, just tell them its medicinal. Just get basic equipment like some CFLs and bagseed there's lots of info on how to begin on the forums, its the basic skill of growing a plant indoors thats important to work on.
Peace
Well, I'm planning on moving into an apartment here in July-August, and I'm not planning on attempting to grow [[inside]] my first time until September-ish; once I establish good ties with the landlord and the neighbors. I know my ABC's... Always Be Careful.
Plus, it's easy to not look suspicious when you're a single white female in the suburbs with a job and a couple of pets...
Electric is one of the utilities already included in my rent, so, I'm going to show my landlord that I have a reptile, so when she sees a higher electricity bill, hint hint, she'll know why...
Does anyone think that this is a good idea??
:hippy:
I started my first grow in my dom room :D. a T5 flouro fixture, my desk light and a small fan in my closet was all I had, but now my babies are outside in the great outdoors, hopefully growing tall and beautiful.Quote:

Just go along for the ride and if everything goes as planned then WOOHOO, if not then you will learn from your mistakes. I have made many newbie mistakes although thats because im a newbie lol
I know for a fact that my next crop will easily surpass this crop due mainly to simple mistakes (PH.. etc) and also that i will be using a different strain.
But i really am going to take great pride in the end as long as i get a minimal amount of smokable stuff
Best of luck with your future endeavors ;)
Just remember these things in Order
LIGHT....
Metal Halides... CFL'S.....flours. (THESE will only get you through Veg)
Those lightss mentioned are blue and white and they get height...
ABOUT 16-24 hours of light (I prefer 16hr. On 8 off during veg.) because plants make food in the dark which makes the roots healthy..
If you use only these lights through the whole grow ur ass is gonna be waiting ages during bloom for a crap yield.
HPS (RED LIGHT) You need this in your blooming and want lotsa red because it tricks the hormones of the plant... I'm not an exact scientist but I know this shit works...
You want HPS as a supplementary light throughout a whole grow
(depending on what ya want.. Blue light=Tall Red Light = Bud)
So you can actually make a plant short and fat or tall and fat vise versa you just gotta figure out ur lighting........
Your plants will not have good bloom without RED LIGHTS HPS specifically
Next remember: HEAT IS AND ISSUE.... 68-75 Is where I like it.. less is good more is ok, but plants all react differently...
Nutria
Use organic all the way through for your first go
It's way more forgiving.. you wont burn your plants (chemical burn)
And transplant.. your ph gets all messed up.. especially when you use nutrients.. they tend to drop your ph so.. really watch out for signs of burning if use chems.. the leaves will get all shrivled and curled (theres grow nutria and bloom nutria btw... and if you do use non organic.. use organic in budding cause it gives you way nicer smell girth all that)
Water... yup easy enough to remember,. they do like to be soaked but make sure the water can drain.. f it sits in the pot ur either gonna end up with the dreaded root rot :P among other things.. They do like to be soaked :P but run it out
Sterile.. keep it clean.. fungi bacteria... alll that WILL RUIN YOUR MENTALITY
It sucks and it has or will happen to every grower.. so don't use same soil over ever... dont come in contact with them if ya have all kindsa nasty grime on you from work or whatever.. keep the walls clean with bleach.. wipe up floors vacuum all the dead leaves and dirt and shit up... Seriously you get bugs anything your gonna lose ur cool!
I dont know what else to say.. Im tired
Oh Yeah lights should be like 12 on 12 off in budding.. ur imitating nature by doing this and make the plant actually go through a hormonal reaction.. dont just cut ur lights either dimming is a good thing if you can get em..
Yeah Im too tired to type and I just rambled probably some stuff that doesnt even make sense to ya
I have been doing alot of research and planning and hopefully will be starting a small grow room I intend on a 3'x4' area about 5' tall and was hoping to grow 2 WW plants. My question is with optimum lighting and ventilation while holding a good temp humidity and Ph level is it possible to produce 2 to 3 ounces per plant? Would I do better to try a different strain or to grow just one plant?? Ill be happy to produce whatever I can 0however I am a chronic back pain patient and tend to go through about an ounce every two or three weeks. So if I'm going to invest my time and money in the hobby I would like to keep enough to last me.
Help is greatly appreciated
