How often do you tell your kids . . . ?

I got two boys and they know I love um,I feel I got a strong family....We wrestle and play xbox and wii and stuff like that.

I grew up in a Great home,with good brothers and sister,I guess I carry on what my parents gave me,...I caught my fair share of beatings,but I always knew I was loved.I guess thats why I love Christmas so much,my kids are happy,everyone is happy,you gotta do what you can for your kids....So when they get older and have a family of their own,they'll know just how much you loved them.They'll remember the good times.
BTW,Good to see we got some Awesome Parents up in here.

Sorry I don't really belong here because I'm just 17 and have no children of my own (thankfully haha), but I make sure to tell my parents that I love them too, I make sure every night before bed and when i leave for school in mornings. I think it's important to let them know that even though they ground me or whatever I still love them.

I tell my kids every time I hear from them. they are both in college and living in the dorms. Both have pretty busy lives and just don't seem to have time for Dad much anymore.

my kid was yelling at me that i dont love here because i make her do her chores and home work and yell at her occasionally, to do her stuff.
my reply was i love her very much just dont always like her attitude.
my son comes in before bed for his hug and i love ya .
dont always like they way they act but i will always love them no matter what and i tell them so, my dad to this day still doesnt say it unless i say it first, but he grew up when it wasnt manly to say that i guess.

In the time that i lived with ym other she really never told me she loved me nor did she show much affection. My moms just a naturally cold person that has no need or desire for affection so she figgures nobody else needs some that special warmth that only comes from a mother. But now that I've been living on my owne for almost 4yrs our relationship has gotten a lot beeter. She actually shows me a lot more affection now, then she ever did when I grew up.
My father.. well he's is the prime example of what a father should be. Maybe it's becasue he hates my mother and sees it fit to take it out on me since he knows that's the only way to get to my mother. He's never realll been the one to care about anything but himself. He expects me to call him and check on him but everytime I do call he says he's busy and he will call me back.. Surprise surprise, he never calls back. So I stoped calling.

Luckily now that my partner and I have the most amazing Little girl. We never let a day go by without us telling her we love her at least 30 times. lol. I will always try to show and tell her how much I love her everyday of her life..
