May I suggest this riddle?

i love riddles keep it going

A lady before going to bed read a book for a while. After reading her book she turned out the light and went to bed. When she woke up in the morning she read the paper. In the paper she read about a ship that had sunk and all passengers died. Though she didn't know anyone on the ship she committed suicide that day. Why?

I posted this in the other riddle thread.. but no one responded... so How bout this becomes like an official riddle thread, and whenever anyone solves the riddle they get to pick the next one? Sounds easy enough..
