Not to worry, Thats exactly how You cool QF. Blow and swirl check temp on cup...Each blow and swirl should drop it about a degree.

On the other hand...As a Casino Worker in Las Vegas I once had a on the job accident and did not have time to use the QF heat pad. I was in the bathroom and the QF in My fruit of the looms was around 93-94 degrees. Acceptable but Casino Security was involved so I couldn't take any chances...

What I did was to rub My finger on My pants (Quietly) till it was hot and I would hold My hot finger on the temp strip. I did this three times and the strip went to 96 and I submitted it and they looked and put a check in the temp box on the form and I new I was going to collect workers comp.

Yep its better to be little high than low.Cool idea there jeff.I would have never thought of screwing with the temp strip itself.

Thanks Killer and Giggy and Your not kidding. Too cold is not only a waste of QF and money but should You get a chance to re-test You will be observed.

anyways, I had my test yesterday and all went well. I want to thank FBR and everyone else who gave their advice, tips, & info.

Let me give some details incase some needs some help in the future. so i get to labCorp, my clean sample crotched whcih my buddied supplied me with 2 min. before I walked into the labcorp door... So I get in there and she has me sit in the waiting room for about 5 min, which was ok cus I had a foot warmer wrapped in toilet paper rubber banded to my sample bottle. I found that heating a foot warmer for 5 min. exactly and then wrapping it around a 3 oz. bottle and having this sample crothced for 15 min will keep the temp.a consistent 98 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Also, I wrapped the toilet paper around the foot warmer 8 times...eight layers on each side. anyways, i get in there and after 5 min of waiting she has me intital and sign some spots she highlighted on the CoC and then after that gave me my bottle with a marked line. She said I had 4 min. She had music playing and the moment I walked in the bathroom someone called the office phone so i thought to my self "niiiiiiice". So in the bathroom they have a sink and toilet, nothing was blue and there was no tape...but there was a table making the substitution easy. I was in and out of the bathroom in probably less than a minute. Anyways, once I get out...this is where it gets weird, she hands me a long tube and tells me to fill it up to a certain line and cap it...once I did that she told me to take the rest to the toilet and dump it and clean the cup out (lol wtf). She didnt eve bother to check the temp...just wrapped the single tube ina plastic bag and did something with it...so I thought that was weird. but anyways, I want to thank everyone who helped me especially FAKEBOOBSRULE! :thumbsup: now I guess i just have to wait and see if my buddies piss was actually clean which im 99.99999% sure it was.

does anybody have any insight on what this could mean? the labcorp person not splitting the sample and only using one tube... thanks for the replys.

I believe they only do the split sample for DOT qualified positions.Sounds like everything went perfect for you.

I actually got called up today for a supposed random.I work in DOT sensitive job so they do the split sample.I didn't bother to sub because I had checked myself last night and was clean.It had been a week since I'd smoked.

Killerweed you usually give great advice here but they use the split sample for more than just DOT testing. :thumbsup:
