No one's vigilant anymore, and children are under heavy protection from schools and parents. This is why the issue has escalated somewhat I feel.

yo children shooting people in a war is a million miles away from wanna be gta angsters gunning down 11yr old kids in the street.
this stuff needs to stop
your right no one is vigilant but in the uk there has been a number of cases of people who have and have been injured/brain damaged/ killed. most people dont wanna give there lives.
the worst is that there all mostly under 16 and without pubes that the serve very trivial sentences, a kid that hit a man with a brick brain damaging him enough to warrent the remove of this left frontal lobe got 15 months adn was release after 7.
the governement and politicans dont do shit because they dont wanna look like they are alienating voters or are dissin the kids.
this kids make up a small majority but push around the majority due to the media and localised cases.
like i said we should ante up and deal out some vigilante punishment.
but then this just makes us as bad.
im just waiting till one of the fuckers comes into my yard.

You're missing my point. I'm not talking about the numbers in crime. I'm saying that these crimes aren't new, they have been going on for years. I agree the rise in certain crimes is alarming. But we also need to take into consideration that technology has improved a great deal, helping us keep record of any crimes that happen.
I personally feel that your Government is at fault. Children are given too much freedom. I believe children do have rights, but they also need restrictions and discipline.

Nation_1ne exactly my point I (or anyone) never said that these crimes were new did we? thats not the point here of course these crimes were around a long time ago, and it has got worse I mean no one is really safe anymore even if you keep yourself out of the gang culture lifestyle you are still at great risk of being gunned down for no reason at all, at least in the war there was a reason because they were trying to take over the land but this is just plain stupidity.

they aren't knew but they are worse, more prevelant and the kids are getting younger and younger. as for this country over the last 10 -15 years it is a relatively new problem. 20 years ago it just didnt happen. yes there was violence in areas of low wealth but nothing like what we see today, that has seemingly moved from localised areas of boarderline poverty to areas of 'relatively' well off places.
it is the governments fault, but also the fault of other contributing factor. such as reduced disipline powers of schools. the under manning of the police force. this is a combination of positive racial action, where areas have to recruit people of only certin ethnicity to meet the governement targets of diversity, upshot turning away white people for the jobs and reduced street police to persue other crimes. the uk police force at the moment is the most staffed it has ever been.
but mostly i think it is demise of community in general and the lack of parental discipline and knowledge that leads to inbread youths taking arms to the streets. when i was a kid if i did wrong i got a clip round the ear from my dad. nowadays if you hit a child you got the middle class liberal suburbanites on your case and the kid could have you charged.
i honestly believe we should have a three strikes system for under 18's. if you get three you get drafted, simple as, manditory 5 years.
this way they will learn discipline. not clog up our prisions and get em off the street. plus it mite scare the fuck out of some of them into growing up.

Parents don't want to parent anymore. They want to be bestest friends and set no boundries.
My brother lives in a hoity doity neighborhood and the parents are going to jail for having a high school kegger party. 2 kids were killed trying to drive home. It was very scary. I know some of the p's and kids involved and I'm telling ya. The kids are running the house and raising the parents. and these are RICH people too!!

i think every punk teenager that thinks thier hot shit and untouchable like that needs just one decent slug to the jaw by an adult... it'll hurt, but it wont kill em, and it'll knock some respect into em. My little brother can be a wild one, nothing like these vids, but he challenged me one day so I took him up on it, took em out back, never really swung at him but tossed him around quite a bit, It hurt his pride a bit, knocked some respect and sense into him, and I think it was just what he needed.

What if these criminals are on some sort of next level? How people look down on Marijuana, people probably look down on these kids and that's what makes them into who they are. I won't say bad parenting bla bla because some parents are wonderful people and their kids turn out into something that doesn't resemble them at all?
I don't think having the macho thinking of 'I'd kill em all if I had the chance' does anything to improve the situation. Try to understand WHY they are out there commiting these crimes in the first place.
I'm in no way defending any crime but simply 'punishing' these 'Kids' won't change anything.

Well said LIP, we need to start coming down hard on these people, get shot of the "poor little souls they never had a teddy when they were young so that is an excuse for them to be little thugs" do gooders brigade. Public flogging and very long sentences in army run rehabilitation camps are what is needed.
Capitol punishment should also be brought back
I can see vigilante squads coming very soon as our government seems to favour the criminal instead of the victim.
