You know every few months talk of a CC convention surfaces. To start with a "boardwide" convention like this would be a logistics nightmare. Most of us are smokers with major obligations and we are spread out across the U.S ,Canada, and part of Europe (mostly Great Britain, covered by ambassadors Cannabis Campbell and LIP). If people were really serious about having an annual CC convention, the best way to go about it would be to build up to it. We would need to do several smaller regional conventions for a year or two leading up to annual international conventions. For example we would break the U.S. up into regions and get a group rate on a block of hotels and go from there. Large states like NY, PA, TX, OH, CA, FL would have like state gatherings and Canada would have gatherings among the provinces and some of the smaller states would group together to have a convention. I don't know if we have any travel agents or very experienced travelers who could help with this but after building steam through state and regional conventions, we could pull off an annual international convention. Two words: Coporate sponsorship!!

If we did it right we might be able to make it so people could write it off their taxes. I'm not sure about this but those in medical marijuana states could write it off as healthcare expenses if it adds up to a certain amount.

Im serious tho id be up for it. Im just afraid no one would show up.

Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, St. Louis...all good too for us MidWesterners. If I had to, maybe I could make Ohio.

We could also just start in smaler groups of people that live nearby.
Age may be an issue too if under 18-21. yanno?

I'm not sure what you're saying but those were just examples and not set in stone. I'm sure all of those locations could have their own smaller conventions building up to the big dance.

There's ALOT of people on here i'd like to smoke with - and i dont usually like smoking with others as much as on my own.

Oh, I was just saying that a lot of folks here are from the midwest. That's all.
Meeting in a med legal State would be good too.. I'd be making an appt and my ins already said they'd cover it.
