DMX smokes crack and still robs people as a millionare, suffers from mental illness and paranoid fantasys. He shouldn't have been allowed to have the dogs to begin with. Maybe people should have to do a background check to get animals, kinda like they do to get handguns. Not sayin it would work all the time but maybe it would root out obviously bad owners like DMX.

Not a bad idea...I used to work at a stray cat's refuge in England and I swear it was harder to adopt one of our cats then it was to adopt a baby! We knew those that really wanted a cat would be glad that we cared enough to check them out like that. Most of the cats had been abused in one way or another, we felt it was our duty to never let that happen to them again. WWW;)

I gotta weigh in on this one more time,;) I don't think DMX has ever been reported to be connected with dog fighting, in fact I'm pretty sure he loves dogs and many times has said so in his songs, the problem lies in the fact that he is an incompetant owner... which is not the same as a malicious owner. He wants to be around them but is mentally ill and incapable of making the rational decisions required to care for an animal.
