seedlings growing into females need tips!!
ive also heard that you shouldnt use the plant spikes because they are slow release and can mess with your other fertilizers. plus someone once said that contact with the roots when they grow into them can cause root burn. ive used them outdoors before but since reading this i havnt used them at all. just something else to make your life a little easier. lol i suppose if you grew the plants better than the other people did you might make them a little better, but just as likely they will come out about the same.

yea i havent been using the spikes i also used them in a outdoor grow 2 summers ago and the plant was great and that was the only fertilizer i used also maybe thats why
is lime only for lowering ph? i got it for that reason but it also has calcium magnesium and bunch of other organic things thought the plant would like those things
dynamite isnt made by miracle grow it just says dynamite premium fertilizer for flowers and vege's, the nitrogen is 13% it says whats the highest amount of nitrogen you can add and what's the affect?
i did see some type of bone meal in a bag i guess at home depot ill check it out tomorrow!! thanx for the replys everyone sorry for the annoying question just wanna get it right

i think alkaline means higher ph. correct me if im wrong.

yeah alkaline is pH above 7.
Fert spikes are not good indoors. OUtdoors, I MIGHT consider using them if I could not access the site, but kind of as a last resort. I'm sure under some conditions they are completely safe. But I don't trust them really.

you could look at lime that way....it stabilizes PH. so if your PH is too high or too low it will bring it back to 7...and yes the elements in lime are good for the plant as well, but as with any additives too much can be bad.
is dynamite liquid? liquid nutes are the way to go. higher nitrogen isn't always better. fox farm grow big is amazing stuff and i believe its around 6-4-4. you have to remember its not how much you throw at your plants its what they can handle!
forget home depot...find a hydro store or nursery in your area!

the dynamite are little beeds that you add when you transplant to the dirt its like an advanced time release its 13-13-13 but it says will not burn plants and im only gonna use a quarter of what they say when i start out anyways
i also already put lime in all my soil just a tiny pinch because the pots im using right now are very small just to start out seeds but will be transplanting when plants are about 2 half weeks old.
dynamite consist of :
13% nitrogen
13%phosphate
13%potash
1.20%magnesium
.02 baron
.05copper
0.20 iron
0.06 manganese
0.02 molybdenum
i guess you can you'se this all the way through both cycles i guess once you mix it with the soil it takes a while to finnaly wash out but from what ive read i thought this stuff was good for it
i can also you'se manassas for a carbohydrate right? i also like using it because of the strong smell it puts off!!!!
makes your plants smell stronger faster i beleave!
i wonder if i can put this dynamite into a gallon of water and let it disolve in to it i dont know probley wont work right?
i guess ill use this dynamite for vegging and for flowering im gonna buy some bone meal and half to find out whats a good source for potassium?
thanx for the replys keep em comin :stoned:
