I hope I did not insult you, CC, that was not at all my intention, youre a cool guy and I'm not a meanie. I just think the difference in whats big over here and whats big over there is fun to ponder!
And I drive a honda accord, not anything fancy or lay worthy :)

Muscle cars are beautiful beyond belief but aren't European fuel prices even higher than what we are experiencing Stateside?
To be honest i've never seen one, but im sure some people must have.Quote:

But im sure there must be plenty of people who are into and drive modified cars over there.
Yeah there are. One of the prettiest cars in town is my friend's custom restoration of a Karmann Ghia. All the extraneous trim is gone, it has been slightly and tastefully lowered, and it has a fresh paint job that looks like quicksilver in the sunlight and sharkskin in the shade. It's really unusual. There are several local collectors with Novas and Chevelles and even some nice Mopar stuff- my ex has a restored 69 Charger 440- but that antique VW is one of a kind.
Basically Japanese,,,Honda,Toyota,,,VW's for the rich kids...
