All right, I got a couple of exercises for you.
1. Calf raises. Stand half-way on the balls of your feet on some steps and raise your heels so you are on your tip-toes. Slow raise them up, and lower them. Repeat.
2. I don't know how bad your back, so don't do it unless you are comfortable enough to do this one.
Lie down on your stomach. Raise one arm and the opposite leg as much as you can, and lower, and switch. It'll help a weak back, but it could aggravate your pain further.
3. Partial Plank. Lie face down on mat resting on the forearms, palms flat on the floor. Push off the floor, raising up onto your knees and resting on the elbows. Keep your back flat, and tilt your pelvis and contract your abs. You don't want your ass to stick in the air.
Try these 3 first, and let me know the level of pain on your back, and if you can do these, I'll suggest more.
