Hey, what better way to learn!
Actually taking the first step and growing a plant is your introduction into the growing world. It's a lot of trial and error.. So next time simply apply what you've learned from the previous grow. You'll gradually learn the basics and then you can apply them however you want.
If you haven't already.. look into getting a book. It serves as a reference as well as a "gro guide". It'll be something that you can look through whenever needed and refreshes your memory if you've forgotten small little tricks and things.
Best of luck,
Bob.

Do you have any books ud recommend bob?

Well I'm not Bob but my pick for books are:
BOG Bonanza of Green- simple, intuitive approach to dirt growing. Outrageously foolproof! And presented in a lighthearted way. Could use a few more pictures but hey, the ones in there of Bushy and his BOG Bushes are good for a drool.
Jorge Cervantes indoor bible- They have it at Barnes n Noble, lol. It's the super basic grow book that most of us have probably owned at one point. Contains a pretty good pictorial guide to cultivation problems and symptoms
Then when you want to get all geeky, Greg Green's breeding book is outstanding.

thats good. cuz it will help lots.
I learned to bend my plants when I did my 2ed grow like 5 years ago.
and every sence then it has helped a lot. a whole lot.
pluss all of the buds my plants grew ended up being all the same size by the time of harvest on all of my grows over the next 5 years.
and now 2007 and I am on my 12 full grow. and the past 5 years of growing funest thing I have ever done.
pluss kind of free weed.
anyway I wish U good luck on this grow and future grows.
