Well, thats my point, MJM.. I could meet the person that I think is the love of my life, and she could be married, so probably nothing will come of it.. If that happens, then i'll know that she wasnt the love of my life. As much as I dont believe in fate and destiny and anything that cant be proved, there is one thing that I believe in - That your 'true love' is the person you're 'destined' (for want of a better word) to be together, and because of that, your true love wont be married, and you will stay together.. Anyone else you get with up until that point isnt really your true-love, no matter how much you thought it was.. Do you see what im saying?

My advice - Wait until you find someone, and under no circumstances should you compare her to your ex-wife, or to your relationship with your ex-wife.. Just enjoy the moment :)

Ghost, I see your point but I don't agree with it. I know what I know from my own experience. I am glad that you believe in true love, though, since I know you don't believe in much of anything that can't be proven. :)

Hey, Res, why don't you look that girl up and see if she's still available? That's what I would do. Hopefully, all those bridges haven't been burned.

. Hmmm, I'm no authourity on love, to put it simply. But heres my 2 cents.

People change, if you continue to grow, what was once best for you will no longer be whats best for the future/present you. Perhaps you will meet somone who can better compliment the future you?

I'm not really going to define love, who truely can? Is all love not different, with each person & thing? I for one can love someone or something without a problem, love is easy.........However like is a harder thing to achieve for me, or even hang onto once I have achieved it.

Example. I was with the same guy from 15-23 and I loved him but I learned I didn't like him...get it or am I really fucked up right now? :confused:

IMO.....If you can like the person you love, you have it made!
