oh man, that sounds familiar... it was a tick over two weeks ago that I was pending some surgery, did the right thing and had nothing by mouth after 10pm per doc's instructions... INCLUDING NO COFFEE :mad::mad::mad: in the morning... only to get to the effing hospital and be told 'oops, we've cancelled all 'elective' surgeries (anything besides bloody open heart surgery is 'elective' around here) because of this'n'thatandso'n'so.Quote:

PC, you just might find that the wick makes a pretty OK watering system even for times you're home. If in soil, it's a pretty good way to go. Electronically automated watering of soil will be hard to dial in as well as ye olde wicke system.
The thing is, Al, I'm not in soil. I'm in coco, which is considered hydro. With coco the pots are flooded and one shoots for 10% - 20% run-off.
Oh, OK. Sounds like a plain ol flood system might do ya.
