I really do wish I had the smarts and the will power to stop smoking ciggs when I was younger... We are strong and resilient when young and ignore the long term,,,this is why I am persistant in trying to educate young peeps...
I was seriously considering quitting after this pack.
Lung butter is just gross. :(
Some how you made it sound even grosser...Quote:

Ever since I turned 15 it became a minimum of a pack per week. Since I turned 17, it's been 3 packs a week. On April 23rd I made a sudden halt and quit cold turkey. Havne't had even a craving since. I tried smoking a bogue one day my mom really got to me and pissed me off beyond comprehension...I lit it...but I couldn't take a drag from it...my conscience wouldn't let me. I actually WANTED to smoke and my mind and body wouldn't allow it. Not even when I get drunk.
So I guess it's all in the will? I made a pact with my friends that we'd all quit that night. I had just bought a fresh pack of smooths, and that night I smoked my last 3 cigarettes and I gave the rest to my mom. 3 out of 5 of those friends had at least 1 cigarette after they quit.
Personally I dont' see anything wrong with smoking a cigarette every now and then...after all I'm going to spain this summer and in my area they only have hash, no weed at all...to smoke hash you have to heat it and sprinkle the dusty powdery product over tobacco and roll that into a joint since it's difficult to smoke the powder by itself...so by default i'm going to HAVE to smoke at LEAST an UNFILTERED cigarette per day...hehe might as well quit completely because that'll fuck my lungs up pretty bad in itself.
Vaporizing saved my lungs. After 17 years of bud smoking my lungs were a mess. Try it. You might like it. You could also try baking/cooking it?
My brother has asthma and smokes cigs and weed. His dad, my stepfather, did the same for over 30 years and now has emphysema and is hooked up to oxygen. So that is one concern. I don't worry about the lung cancer with only weed, but when you hitting up both - watch-out - cuz the weed can only heal you so much you know...
The way I see it is - if you really love weed - vaporize it and/or eat it. That way you can stay in the game longer and in the end, who's left standing to continue consuming this amazing plant....the vaporizer user. Because all you smokers could be hooked up to oxygen or dead from cancer.
Don't get me wrong - I love a lungfull once in a while too - and I have no problem seriously with all of us wrecking our lungs in the name of the maryjane.
Tobacco companies can suck my dick. Pharmacuticals can fuck off! Corporate America will go to hell. Bush is a crusader. Cheney is the devil.
I'm at a pack a day right now >.<
Marlboro Reds at that..Once I get some money saved up and I can start purchasing high grade bud on a regular basis I'm going to quit the ciggs..I've noticed if I don't happen to have any, I can just take a few hits off my pipe and get a lil buzz going..and I can fight off the craving..The deal breaker in my eyes is the whole having a cigarette after you eat a meal...Thats gonna be the hardest part for me
yeah thats where you put the yay bump hahaQuote:
