My argument is that vegetables are literally defenseless, so it's cruel to hunt them. Any animal has a chance to survive and escape :P
Yeah, I'm nearly a carnivore :)

Yeah, many hours and a charbroiled chicken sandwich later and I've gone back to not giving a shit and meat is delicious. Thanks for convincing me. Fucking peta and their brainwashing anthropomorphism shit!
Peace :D
Ba da ba ba ba, I'm loving it :D
I can accept personal choice when it comes to vegetarianism, even if I do view any diet that requires a person to supplement vitamens or die slightly unnatural. But why, why must they attempt to dissuade every carnivore from their chosen dietary lifestyle?
So vegetarian, here's a chicken. Eat it or i'll kill another one.
thats fucked up man. how would you like it if someone cooked and ate your best friend, fried your cousin's undeveloped children and ate them for breakfast, and then shot you and while you were writhing in pain stomped on your head? fuck that.Quote:

eating meat is ok, other animals eat it. i eat meat although i try not to in excess. but the fact that so many people feel no remorse for this disgusts me! animals are like little friends who run around and play and eat and live, why kill them in such horrible ways and make them live like that! :(
PETA is so full of false propaganda that they rival the United States Government in that regard.
PETA will kill humans to save animals, doesn't make sense does it?
That video is NOT the outlook of every slaughter house. They just twist stories to their advantage, and correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't PETA the one dumping dead puppies in trash bins and got caught?
I eat meat, and yes, I understand that there is no such thing as humanily killing an animal. IU worked in a pork slaughter house, and the way they killed pigs was not slicing their necks open. An electrode cam out and went in their neck, and it's supposed to shut of their brain instantly.
When they are still twitching, they are not alive still suffering. It is simply nerves still reacting that haven't fully died yet. My Oma is on a farm, and she told me once that she sliced the neck of this cow. 20 minutes later she came back after all the blood had drained, and she got 2 swift, quick kicks to the chest. This was well after the animal was dead, so it's just nerves reacting still.
Don't think that every slaughterhouse is like that because they're not. What they show is a VERY small fraction of uncontrolled slaughterhouses. If you choose not to eat meat, so be it, but I will never stop eating meat.
When my python was near 5 ft, I was whole sale'n baby chicks...
Hold em by the body, and *SHWAP!*, wack there heads hard against the counter top.. mostly one hit kill. Freeze em and heat em to feed em.
Eat meat. :)
That's red paint, dude. XD
But yeah, PETA are asses. They oversensationalize the mistreatment of animals, which really just makes people care about it even less.
But seriously, we do treat animals like objects. Maybe there isn't a completely humane way to slaughter an animal, but we could be treating them better while they're alive, giving them better living conditions and such.
