I agree a bit with the basics of atkins (starches and too much carbs are bad), but fat is quite bad as well. Don't eat a bunch of bacon and junk like that. Fat is fat and too much will allways be bad. Especially the fake ones in stuff like margarine. I like real butter :)
I doubt you're exercising enough to burn what you're eating at the moment. You are responsible for your actions, high or not, you can't blame the 'muchies' for everything and in my opinion anything. Do you play any sports? I would do that if i were you, but i've never heard you talk about sports so i dunno if you like them.
pig out on wheat thins or something. or get some of those rice cake snacks to destroy when youre high.
we are only allowed certain fats and a certain percentage per day......enough of anything is unhealthy for you...it works quite well...we have the fat to curb the appetite, and you need fat..but too many people think we can eat bacon and sausage and pepperoni all day....it is like anythinig else, all in moderation..

From what I could tell, here's my advice:
- You need a balanced diet. All these diet-type things are OK, but really in the end it's just eating normal amounts and good stuff. This means you need carbs, and fats, and protein. As for fats and carbs, I really think what kind they are might help. If the fat is unsaturated and/or naturally occuring, and the carbs are natural starches and sugars, awesome. If you're eating lots of trans fats and lots of corn syrup (I truly believe these two things cause lots of... fat) that's not good.
That's not to say you can't have any. So, sure, go ahead and go to Burger King once or twice a week. I look up the nutrition info on any place that offers it, I've found the fries are the big culprit. Cut the fries and you've killed half the problem right there.
Cut down on soda. I need to do this but I'm having trouble >< Anything with corn syrup for that matter. I personally drink lots of milk, you should be able to find something. You don't need to eliminate this stuff completely unless you want to be a meatless zombie, but as someone stated, girls look better when they've got a bit of substance and look healthy.
Oh, and exercise. I know it's a bitch, but as someone else said, you'll be unhealthy even if you don't eat a ton. I watched a Penn and Teller recently (Have you seen it, Rebgirl? I know your political views are similar to mine and I like this show, don't agree with everything but it's interesting) and a guy being interviewed said fat people who exercise are healthier than skinny people who don't. That about sums that up. Hope any of that helped.
hey the same thing was happening to me... so this is how i handel my weight now... first of all when I am high .. . I try to not look at the cookies and stuff.,... sooo instead of eating fatty fooods...../... fill your self up with apples, grapes, and straw berrys or any fruit... which taste good and I am pretty sure you cant get fat off fruits... so yea... yesterday i ate like 6 apples and shit load of grapes lol
Yeah I recently lost 55 pounds. So yeah I excercise alot and I watch what I eat. I'm 130 pounds now and i'm 5'8". Its just that recently ive been going to Burger King alot. It's no biggie really. I just smoked and all I had was the serving size of Light Pringles.
Don't buy anything else at the grocery store except for rice.
