You definitely CAN get HIV from receiving oral. We don't want a rumor to the contrary to take hold here.

And Lazy, the reason condoms cover the whole penis is that a cap alone wouldn't stay on during intercourse. Think about the forces and shapes at work there. A cap just wouldn't be safe enough. And it's not just the urethral opening that needs covering anyway. It's the entire penis. If there were a tiny, microscopic tear in the skin somewhere along the penis, that could be an entry point for the virus (or myriad other STD infections). And other STDs like herpes can inoculate the skin and not just the urethral opening.

I'd like to personally give that creep in the story a lethal injection . . . .

some diseases(like herpes) can be transmitted by any kind of vaginal/genital contact, so yes, condoms are good ideas

You can still get STD's after sex with using a condom.Alot of people think you only get STD during sex but if you dont remove the condom properly then you can still get infected. Meaning after use you shouldnt just hold the tip and pull it off that way you can get the virus over your hands and infect your self. The condom should be rolled down NOT pulled off. That way the infected surface will not be incontact with you hand. Be safe this shit is real and you never know who has it, most people dont even know they have it until synthoms start kicking in.

its funny, but i do feel a shred of sympathy for that creep.

its people like that that made me major in biology. i want to eventually be a molecular biologist and work at merck laboratories developing cures for stds and other diseases. i feel so bad for people with stds..i can only imagine what they go through.

..im not saying what the guy did was right. this guy is a complete tool. if infected, you definately need to tell your partner before engaging in aaaaaany sort of sexual contact. he fucked up and he knows it..he probably was just afraid of being alone. understandable but it doesnt make it ok.

anyways, its people like that that give true victims of disease a bad name. not everyone with an std is like that, but now im sure a lot more people think so.

ps...if anything, they would probably turn this type of thing into a manslaughter charge...not murder. but who knows? i personally think it may be too hard to define it as murder, but very simply put as manslaughter...you didnt mean to hurt anyone, but they died by your actions, that is simply manslaughter plain and simple.
