I'll summarize that article for you, since you probably don't want to read the whole thing: the little greenish-white crystals that fall off the buds and can stick to plastic bags are kief. They are pretty much trichs that have crystallized and fallen off, so they are potent as hell.

Keif is made up of small crystalls. These crystalls are trichomes. The cannabis plant stores it's highest concentrations of THC CBN CBD CBG in the trichomes. They are the most potent part of the plant. The plant matter itself DOES contain THC, but in such small amount it'd be almost unnoticeable with trichomes.

The trichomes grow and look like mushrooms. Inside the trichome it is oil. The oil contains the phycoactive chemicals.

When the plant is dried these oil filled trichomes crystalise. When cured, more THC is activated.

Kief is what gets you stoned.

Also, when warmed and compressed, it is what makes hash.

It's the cannabis plants resin.

lol keif is izi 2 collect.. seems 2 build up fast in a (catching) grinder.. once i smoked about 4 - 5 joints and the next day i was able to fill 2 huge bowls of crystall.. it was like a gift because i already smoked the joints and now have keif.. also i save my roaches and 1 standard roach is enough for 2 good bowls, then the leftovers from (the smoked joint/roach/pipe) i save up for a rainy day and smoke it out of a bong wich i clean the resin glands off evry month when im dry.. i treat weed like gold lol
