Well, I finally got busted.

That sucks, but at least you don't have a risk of jailtime like some states.

yeah, for less than .5, also had my liscense suspended for 6 months (didn't even have it and still don't, nearly 4 years ago now) have to pay 100 reinstatment fee for that, then gotta take a 4 week drug program just to be able to get my liscense, then i have to pay 'high risk insurance' ontop of my normal insurance. 1,000 in fines and court costs nearly brought it up to 1,500... another 500 for my attorney (i really shoulda known i was gonna get fucked with such a cheap ass lawyer... but i didn't have much choice i'm poor) AND i spent the night in jail that night... (oh yeah another 1,000 for bail.)

ive been caught w/ weed but always just told to go home and not do it in public...hahahaahaha..dam u guys r getting taxed

Hell yeah man, I roll a few joints and keep them in my pocket. If I'm going to get pulled over or some shit, and still havn't smoked them, I can always just eat them lol. No smellie baggy afterwards or anything. Saved my ass numerous times

the only time I got caught with any herb on me was in Des Moines IA I served 26 days in jail before I got to goto court and then they gave me time served. Count your blessings yo... all they had on me too was just a couple of blunts and then when I got to court they didnt have those just two roaches (Fucking pigs)

I've walked past cops here before with a spliff on the go and they don't bat an eye. I don't recommend this btw - depends where you are in the UK and depends on the cop!

Cops like that Warden are brainwashed - just making money for the state $565 for posession? How is that going to help anyone?

Jeez if you weren't a pot smoker (and actually used something dangerous and addictive) you might even go and steal to pay your fine.... I can see a pattern here ;)

Game Wardens here have the same capacity as a State Trooper...

And just think if you'd of just finished off the joint amusing it was smoked using a joint and the roach desposed of. He would of had no proof that you were smoking weed. But Instead you carried a gram and a half of raw cannabis flower.

Smoking in public is risky but having the raw product on you is even more risky..

Just bring enough that you're gonna smoke..a joint or two. maybe a blunt. Something you can get rid of easyer or eat really fast.

The charges were $565 for simple possession (first offense) and my friend had an extra $155 added for being without a license.

On top of that, he set the court date for only 2 weeks later and expects us to have the cash ready by the date.

FUCKING BULL. Who can actually work a minimum wage job AND go to school full-time and make that kind of money in that time? Definitely not me. I think he knew that very well, too.

Well, one way or another, I'm going to pay the fine, even if I have to start working overtime. That bastard isn't going to ruin me like that. I already have family and friends who said they would watch my back if I didn't make the money in time. Thank God for friends like mine. (One has already graciously lent me $100 :) )

Oh, and my parents now know I smoke weed, and they were perfectly okay with it...and to think I could have just sat home and smoked a bowl in private the whole time instead. :(

Looks like I'm just going to move to Amsterdam to avoid this pointless and outrageous drug war. Who's with me? :stoned:
