Sorry to hear that Smoke. What's up?
My last house was 96 yrs old. I redid everything from electric to sheetrock to landscaping. 3 years of blood sweat and tears. I loved it. It was in an up and comming area. Guy who bougt it..TORE IT DOWN! Built a whole new house. I almost cried.

I don't buy into the "Men" theory... My house is a rock and I waived home inspection to speed up the sale... Purchase 119,000 apraisial I just got thurs 312,000 built in 48...
Have any of you ever seen the show "If Walls Could Talk"? Its on HGTV and its about really old homes that people have redone and all the things they learn about the history of the homes and the people that used to live in them. I really like it but I am both a history and design nerd. If you watch it you might get some cool period design ideas if you want to go in that direction for decoration.
I hope your work is better than the shoemaker before you...Quote:

It's pervy. It's only gross if you don't like to go downtown. :D
