I don't want to do the transplant yet because:
Let's say I shock the too much with the transplant, then my real grow is fucked.
Soooo... I was thinking to do the transplant just after I take my clones for the actual grow...
Schedule:
1- Clones for sex.
2- Clones for actual grow
3- Transplant mother plants
Dude, I know, I know! You're going to kill me... but what do you think about the shock thing? They're mothers anyway... ???
On another note Rasta, my X10 timers arrived... well, half of the order anyway. So, I hope that if the entire order is complete by tomorrow, I'll do my cloning for sex the day after.
I was looking at the videos tCreator so kindly uploaded, and I heard one guy say that to clone for sex you should put them into an 8/16 light schedule... 8 light, 16 dark. Straight off the bat. As soon as you cut them. What do you think? I think I'll go for it... unless you've got more input.
I've uploaded two photos... first one is an overall shot, second one is my setup... ok, part of it. You can see in that second photo that this really is a "Closet/Cabinet Grow".
Thanks guys,

Gen,
I see that you got the ballast idea, but just in case, here's a picture for you. Hope this helps.
As to the performance, I suggest to anybody to air cool your ballasts. Mine doesn't even run warm! Really! Before, fanless it ran pretty hot (not overly hot, but hot nontheless). With the fan I had on its side, it ran warm. But with this "cooling box", wow!!! The ballast doesn't even run warm! It's cool! Super cool!
Ooops...Quote:

I'm beginning to think you are THINKING of reasons to put off your transplant... Seriously, just do it, you got soil and pots right? Take the 10 minutes to make your plants happier. Remember the key to a good transplant is to disturb the plant as little as possible, and get it into the other pot as fast as possible. Check out HD's stress-less transplanting in the FAQ's and then post pics of your newly transplanted ladies :)Quote:
