Starter is right. The bottom line is that at some point we're going to see these bud prices come down because when people figure out that they can get a VERY good amount of Meds every month (At least $400.00 worth) from a caregiver who knows their stuff, then the demand will fall along with prices.
There are SO many strains out there that I would like to try, but I have a budget, and that's fine. But the FACT is, we can have MUCH better priced bud and EVERYONE can still make good money. But we have to talk to one another and get our business to those who are in in for the right reasons. One guy told me"Once I get to making $60,000 a year, I'm going to lower prices across the board until all my patients are getting 2 ounces for free every month and I'm still making my money. My volume and work will increase but the people I work for are getting stuff for a lot cheaper, and to make that happen, to know that the joy is out there for more to have because of my work, what more could you want?"
That's the type of dude I want to empower. Is it possible that he's fronting? Possibly, but I'm a pretty good judge of character, and he's using this as a selling point, and he's already got the number of plants he needs figured and how much time they would take to work.
When people can get a deal like that with a pro, why would they give up their rights to a store that will sell them back their meds at still PREMIUM prices?
With that said, here's to stores like THC and Greatful Meds, and I can't say enough about the only place I've been to yet, and that's C3.

Just got back from C3 on 94th & Federal. I had sworn them off but decided to give them one more chance after somebody here mentioned they were done with a new retail area.
It's better. Same buds.
I like the new counter area. Was able to get in and out in less than 5 minutes.
I know it's medical stuff and some people will complain about privacy. In that case, they should have a smaller separate room for individual patients. Personally, I don't give a shit. I might even strike up a conversation with you while we browse through the different strains. We all know why we're there... pain medication. Whats the difference weather you see somebody in the waiting room but not inside the dispensary area where the cash box and the scale are located?
I am trying 2 new ones -- Master Perm and Euphoria this time. Of course, got more Maui - I like that one, even if it is a little leafy. :jointsmile:

They sell the worst unflushed weed there and charge 12-20 euro a gram for it. once you figure exchange rates, your paying about $80 for 3 grams of cannabis, and to be honest the medicine i have seen around colorado and califronia far surpasses the coffeeshop weed in amsterdam... thats just my opinion as someone who goes to amsterdam at least once a year

The weed i got from Greenhouse, Dampkring, Barneys, Grey Area, was not unflushed. I get medicine all the time from my caregiver that is just as good as what i got when i went to the cup in 09, and 01. I just dont see a lot of medicine of that high of quality at dispensaries, and its useally 20 a gram or $60 an eighth. I remember it being like $35 or $45 an eighth when i went to amsterdam, but that was a long time ago in 99. I know there is a lot of coffeshops in amsterdam with crappy bud, but the ones i went to during the cannabis cup had some of the best weed ive ever smoked. Soma cures his buds for 3-6 months, Dampkring dont play. The coffeshops i went to in Amsterdam had way better bud, and it was never $60 an eighth. I wonder if Amsterdam's quality has suffered with the popularity in premium weed growing like it has? Maybe they used to be great and now it's not? That would be a shame. When was the last time you were there NS?
And to whomever got the Master Perm, let me know what you think about it. I'm trying to up my knowledge, but I've only been at it for a week. I'm good with wine and beer, and I am currently an aspiring weed snob :pimp:

03/04 was the last few years i remembering going to coffeshops and being impressed with the quality. and back then it was 5-10 euro for the best stuff around. and the exchange rates were much better. i just came back from holland two weeks ago, and the majority of the smoke was 12-15 euro and most the stuff under 12 euro was so bad i wouldnt give it to an enemy. and for every $1000 USD i would change, I would get $630 euro. So right off the bat your almost paying twice the cost due to currency exchange.so your 12-15 euro gram is now costing about $22-29 usd. And i seen grams that were selling for 17-20 euro as well... and not to be cocky or anything like that, but the cannabis that I brought with me, was far better than anything I saw in the coffeeshops or at the cannbis cup. and to be fair, the cannabis cup is a complete joke. greenhouse won the cup again with supersilverhaze ??? WOW. just goes to show its all a dog and pony show.... every year its the same thing, yet I expect something different...hmmm sort of sounds like the definition of insanity....hehehe

Why is bud still the same price in medicinal states? Ive done my math and this is prices on excellent meds. I dont care what strain it is. A-Z. I will do 2 for 15, 3.5 for 25. 1/4 for 50. Zips-200. 100% organic Grade A soiless mix, 15 strains available + FREE clones for members (no hermies, mom from seed) and $20 a g hash (probably would'nt have much of this).

But i live in Tx still and need 20g's basically to even move out their with everything paid for 6 months, to rent a decent house. Also i was thinking about donating back alot of profits through the year back to patients.
Im scared i wont make it in time though. Even if i do, it will be the original's that stay if they cap the number of dispensary's or something. Guess i could still just be a caregiver and deliver.
I honestly want to come out their and beat everyone's prices real bad. And the bud will be A Quality. I could go on all day how bad i want this.

main reason is its still illegal in 40 other states.....equals black market prices........prices wont drop untill its legal federally
also someone will buy all your bud for 200 an oz and resell it making more than you in one day..........all you guys who want to "REDO" the market are just short changing yourself.......the market makes the prices.....yes there are always going to be people bitching about prices but everything seems to be going fine out here....there are people who still want gas for a $1 but guess what they are buying it for $3.......youd be foolish to came out here and sell it for that cheap......shit your in texas where A+ goes for 5-6k a lb anyways
