Looks like you may indeed have a seed or two hiding out.....that's......a FEW....nanners hanging about. How bad were you this grow about light leaks? Reverse young jedi!! :wtf:
Sounds good about the screen. Flushing usually takes about 3 days with a good flushing agent so anything after that is plain RO water (watch ph......ALWAYS watch ph) and your preference on trichs.
See you are already passing on the wisdom and troubleshooting other people's grows.....AWESOME FEELING OF POWER, EH??? :D

giving back to the community i love.:hippy:

oh, and dont even ask the young jedi about lite leaks, we had a chat. lets just say 'this ones on him' totally, and i bet he'll never let it happen again,LOL!!!!
we had to clarify what "ZERO" light means during bedtime,
he now gets it:thumbsup:

Well, I strategically opened the door to my cab about 6 inches during the day to let the cab cool off and stay under 80 until I get the bigger home de pot fan. I also purposefully left the door open at night just enough so that one plant was exposed.
Yup, all a big plan on my part.
Right :wtf:
I'm an idiot. It does hurt sometime :/

WH, I didnt know a flushing agent is that important....all the FAQ's ive read (especially the overgrow one) says
"dont to fix something if its not broken"
saying that flushing agents...wait a sec!!!! ya know what.....
im just goin to copy and paste the part im talkin about.....
The following statement is directly from the Overgrow FAQ
"The best way to accomplish this clearing is to feed only water for about the last week (or LESS) of flowering.
Note: These days there are several products on the "grow store" market which say they help the plants clear chemicals. Botanicare Clearex is one of these which users report great results using. My take is, if its not broke why fix it. Good old water does the trick"
Ive never used a flushing agent, so I guess Im one of those guys who doesnt fix somethin unless its broken.... the same way i am with keeping my nutes simple..... i dont fall for all that Piranha/Tarantula/Voodoo Juice garbage..... ive heard people say they get better results from the Lucas formula!!!!! LOL

Sorry doja, but I have to disagree both from personal experience and the word of those whom I trust....including my hydro store owner and folks like Zandor.....who wrote the article on flushing.
Guess I'd need to know who's idea it was that things weren't broke.....when I don't flush my plants they burn poorly and the leaves are more friable; not to mention the lovely metallic taste and the headaches. When I do flush the taste, appearance, and way the bud burns are all much better in my opinion (AND the headaches) and I've tried it both ways.
I use and recommend a flushing agent because it speeds the process up. Can you flush with plain water? Of course.....but the process will be longer imo. That's why I grow hydro......so things don't have to take forever. A good flushing agent helps me with that.
I'm also remembering other great tips from overgrow.....things like peeing on your plants and other such wonderful tidbits of infomation. My take is.....I'm growing in 2008.....and they've invented things like real fertilizer and air conditioning, vaccines, etc.
If I want to live and grow like they did 200 years ago I would find such information alot more valuable than I do. And seriously.....the author there says users reported great results using flushing agents.....but stop short of saying he's actually tried such products himself so wtf?
There are as many ways to grow this plant as there are people. This is the way that I have personally found works for me and that's why I pass said information on. ;)

Weedhound!
K i see your point :)
i have a question.,... right now im 4 days into flushing...with just plain water.....is it too late to run out and grab some clearex (or what do you use??)
i read the directions on HTG's website and it says
Pre-Harvest Treatment (Soil or Soilless)
Discontinue fertilizer regime 2 â??3 days before harvest. Use 1 to 2 tablespoons (15 â??30 ml) of CLEAREX â?¢ per gallon of water. Water as needed.
so thats it? just add 1-2 tbsp of clearex? for 2-3 days up until harvest?
