what happens when you die?
Read about Buddhism but in particularly the Dhali Llama... until learning about this I was unsure but I believe in this the most out of any other religious belief. At first the idea of your soul being in a sort of spiritual limbo until it finds a being that it is attracted to seems very far fetched, however the way the Dhali Llama is realised since the beginning is quite fascinating. As well Tibet is the most spiritually developed and understand the workings of the mind the most out of any other. The previous Dhali Llama knew that there would be trouble with China and he would be too old to help so willingly died knowing he would be reincarnated. A few years later child is born grows up a bit in the mountains with his family as a young child packs his suitcase and tells parents he has to goto Lhasa over and over. Word travels and some monks go to search for him disguised as poor travelers and spend the night there. The Dhali Llama to be was able to speak in a tongue only monks learn and knew the names of each disguised monk that showed up, among identifiying several items that the Dhali Llama kept.

Interesting point. Yes, I think it is important to seek forgiveness for wrongs done to others, and to forgive those who have hurt you. As Sean Connery once said, "I have been screwed more times than a hooker," but I'm learning to let go, which is far less vexatious for my soul than holding grudges.
I hope that when I pass away, I shall become a natural element.

Why would you even ask that question? No one will give you a good answer, because no one knows for sure. The only ones who DO know, are dead, and they ain't saying anything.
I have no idea what happens, and frankly, I don't care. I know in my being that I've done nothing wrong to warrant my descent into a (most likely fake) Hell. Since I KNOW I'm not going to Hell even if it does exist (which it doesn't) and since I don't believe in all that mumbo jumbo anyway, who cares?

pertaining to the idea of hell, as far as christianity goes, it was not even introduced until long after jesus died. his original teaching was basically that god loved everyone and to do everything you could to help others and not identify social class but instead see everyone as equals. everyone originally went to heaven regardless. the idea of hell was introduced as mind control along with many other current christianity teachings and seems to work quite well
about the allegedly thing about the Dhali Llama, that is right no one knows forsure; however, they definately understood things about the mind documented in their monastaries prior to the chinese occupation that america is only starting to learn and understand now.

It is natural to want to know what happens after death. I don't believe death is real. It is only real if I identify my Self with my body. The body is a fence we have created as a way to separate ourselves from God, but this is impossible really. We live in a world of our own creation, our own illusions that are not one with the Mind of God, yet God will never abandon us no matter how hard we try to kill Him and make our god of the ego victorious over Him. Our way back to God is to forgive ourselves and everyone else and to accept the forgiveness of our Father. God loves us each and every one, perfect equality, there are no exceptions to God's love. We created hell folks, not God, look in the mirror. We are all Holy children of God, that means you too! You are going to be whole and perfect whether you like it or not. But be glad for your Father in Heaven has yet to bestow on you your inheritance which is perfect union with Him and all there is. Peace and love to you all, Happy.

It makes sense to thin that it's like the way it was before we were born, but the problem I have with that is that when I try to imagine "before I was born" it feels very similar to the sensation of trying to remember something I've simply forgotten. There's a blank spot, sort of, but the fact that I can cognitize it's existence as a blank spot infers to me that there must be something that is blanked.

What I think we have forgotten is our true Identity, our innocence, our perfection and our oneness. We have forgotten that our dreams of fear, death and loneliness come from our own minds and not the Mind of God. We may have condemned ourselves but God hasn't condemned us. The way back to Heaven is always there but we can't walk it alone because we are One and without completely forgiving the world, we cannot know that we are One. "Nothing real is threatened, nothing unreal exists, herein lies the peace of God." - A Course in Miracles.

It is a difficult question to answer and i do think it is difficult to research also. When you die means you are dead. Everything comes to a end. Whatever we hear about life after death is a mere assumption.
