Actually, this is just another example of a never ending
dispute with good points from both angles.

Science can't prove or disprove God, and as for it disproving
things in the Bible, lets remember how it's almost 2000 years old,
has been translated into many different languages, adjusted to
fit different cultures, etc. The original works were basically warped
by humanity. Let's also remember that not everything in the bible is
to be taken literally, there are stories. Human ignorance and fear also
come into question, as people are afraid to believe in a God, and some are
afraid not too. As for the whole "No God would let humanity destroy itself" thing, God gave people freewill and dominion over the planet. Basically this
means he made us, gave us a place to live and then said peace out and took off, leaving us to do things our way.

The point is, there are many theories about a "God" or higher being, but theres nothing concrete about them, although this doesn't make any theory valid or invalid. It's all a matter of faith. God exists if you want Him too or not.

1. The proof I offered was the simple fact that theres no way it could have happened taking into consideration the fact that the animals and humans have to eat, and the arc would have to have been enormous, much bigger than claimed to be to fit 2 of every animal. I didn't say there wasn't a flood, although I believe there is evidence against it.
2.Here's a link to some guy's site using the bible to "prove" earth is 7,000 yrs. old. Look about half way down the web page. There's also a chart that sums it up.
3.DNA similarities, etc. You obviously can't watch a species evolve, but you can see animals that are mutated, or have slightly different characteristics than others of the same species, which supports the idea. These animals (if their mutation or slightly different characteristic is beneficial) will reproduce and put this "mutation" into the gene pool, and are more likely to survive. Eventually, the whole species may adapt this and evolve into a new species. Example: let's say the earlier form of a giraffe had a 2 foot lang neck, and one was born with a 4 ft. long neck. It could reach higher and get more food, as well as see predators further away and therefore survived to pass on its genes. All longer necked giraffes survived better and passed on their genes and eventually they are what we see now.
I don't know what electromagnetism in outer space has to do with evolution, but science isn't perfect, as our knowledge is ever expanding. If something doesn't seem feasible I don't blindly go with it, I look for proof it is correct.

If there is a god, it's no god written in books by men centuries ago...including Zeus, Allah, Jesus etc.

There's no doubting that the universe is certainly stranger than even science can explain, but that's no reason to just go believing some random shit a book/person tells you without any proof. The bible certainly isn't the word of God. Unless God has a really awful literary sense. I could write a more interesting narrative.

We won't be able to FULLY disprove God until we understand the entire cosmos, or whatever lies outside the cosmos, or whatever lies outside that. That will take a long time. In the mean time, you can pretty much be guarunteed any previous theories were probably bullshit.

This usually puts things in perspective. So you want me to believe God created all that, and he spends his time worrying about a bunch of whiny lifeforms on some speck of a speck of a speck of the universe.

Maybe life isn't meant to be all sunshine and daisies... I think it's meant to be one great adventure, a series of highs and lows.. after all, the concept of happiness and "good" would mean nothing if that's all we knew. We would be incapable of emotion if all was perfect, all the time. Without iniquity and sinners, good times and good people would be unrecognizable.

And besides, HUMAN NATURE and FREE WILL is what makes the world cruel at times, not a higher power or lack there-of.

I think everyone should just believe in and worship the mystery of our planet and the universe, for mother nature is the only true god
