Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
Weez: Of course I used Plugh! Just never finished the game! That seems to be a recurring theme with me....Now I'm hooked on Lara Croft & Tomb Raider, which I am never able to beat either..... Dunno about the name of the Scottish Manor thing....something like McDougall's Manor...Almost beat that one.....then got a new computer and lost it...
PR: You gotta quit hill surfing in that Toyota! I'm on city water, but have 3 springs here, and an old well. I was just joking about the $400 camera....lol..somehow can't expect a free camera..haha.... I bought a $30 digital camera, it'll get the job done....(I'm so cheap haha)
WT: What's up! Glad to see ya here again! Come over about 4 for the baby back rib feast....poor pig never saw it coming.... My secret ingredient in my BBQ sauce is......1 tbsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice! Sounds yucky, but sho does taste fine! I use lots of vinegar & lemon juice in it too....
Haha, not talking much about the Moon Signs here...hope I don't get the thread police after me.........See ya'll later!

Dang, after seeing your grows, now I'm feeliing better about the MG Organic Soil. It was the best choice I had here in Podunkia. I got some new supplies of Perlite yesterday too...gotta love the Perlite!
The remaining 2 gals seem to like being in their new fat 5 gallon homes. Got some new leaves popping out on the Cali Orange big stem.....It's now hot in the grow room, had to turn 1 light off to avoid 90 plus temps....These girls are getting an extreme weather work out.....

Haha, that one had me cracking up! Almost exactly what happened....I did draw down on a water line, but managed to hold my fire! Didn't see that durn snake.....thank God! Never saw a rattlesnake here in my life...until I go under the house and hear rattlllle rattttlllle....AAAAHHH! That was a couple years ago. Now hope I don't have a rattler den under there. Guess I need to buy a ferret or mongoose and lock it under there for a while.....

I've been doing that flush thing ever since you told me about it! Only way I can get the soil runoff right....Do you think all that flushing gets rid of the added nutes in the MG? I got some baby seed starting soil for the widow crop, made by Ferry Morse. It was horribly expensive at $6 for tiny bag. Hope it will be worth it!! Finally found some dolomite lime at WalMart, but didn't want to buy 40 lbs of it.......
I don't know if the flush helps reduce the added nutes or not. I use the moisture control POTTING MIX. I think some peeps get the GARDEN soil by mistake. The 20% perlite added is critical. I like to mix up a big batch and flush it after adding the perlite and a pinch of lime.
Then, I put it into my 16-20 oz party cups (not clear)...put my seed down 1/4 inch...and keep the soil/air temp at 80-85 degrees. (You know the two cups inside one; deal, already...) I have never checked the runoff ph that early...so, I have no idea what it is?
When the sprouts break the surface...I set them under T-12 6500k floro shop lights. No danger of burning..1-2 inches above. I usually go 2-3 weeks like this...until rootbound in the cups. (These pics are in 4 inch clay pots..which is a BIG mistake)

WT: my stupidity isn't illegal yet-one civil right we've managed to retain! I am reading that the moon is a 'guide'. Hope it doesn't have a thing to do with anything more than my feeling the need for active stupidity!
Lolagal: My fave meal! Are you into (meat) smokers? I bought a killer one in TX, then a car to haul it back (instead of fly). Yum! Will try the pump spice thou! Great idea, never heard it.
Do you really think the Moon has much to do with an indoor grow, since we are 'foolin' mo nature anyway with our lights? And thanks for the clarity of why MP's would be on your prop--too close to base. Do they practice with ordinance's flying your yard. I know a farmer in Wisc. that ordinance's were targeted for his farm routinely as, they never looked past the trees! The cows production went way down and they missed every little black and white spotted one!!
I have been under a lot of crawl spaces and haven't seen one snake yet, my biggest fear, of course! I doubt I'll do that again. Instead, I got on top of my RV to get the snow off the Satellite and solar panels. The fear of falling off is as bad of the snakes under house!
The local ag dept sells killer mouse and rat poison. They 'contend' get rid of the food supply and the snakes will leave. Other threads say piss around your plants, etc. I'd shit all over if I thot it'd get rid of um! Dont' know if I'd use my product after that thou! Have a full moon BBQ snake party. Catch it and Lola will BBQ it for you!
Is the leak fixed? They may be there for the water.
I know a lot of farmers follow the moon, that is all they had a century past. They were pretty skinny those days with a shorter life span. I will try a 'MOON GROW" and when you perfect a moon strain-sell it! Would be fun to try. Like a 'group grow!'
I can assure you, those mods are not sleeping! They are here-found um! I was wondering for a bit myself-didn't take long!
HT Oct. 2009 issue: Seed #4: Colonel L's Moon pet! Celebration Party--Kentucky! Seeds not blue in color! Hummm....think the moon has anything to do with white seeds or still just immature seeds?
Me cheap on the things I use very little also--so I find them cheaper. Like a great game, who can beat this price. I actually want great Trich pictures, will a $30 camera do it?
Your thread, if you don't like the jacking, say so; we'll shape up. After the withdrawal of a month, we have to dust off a little! I looked into that little box with what is on and off in your posts (which I have no clue what most of those initials mean anyway) and there it states: Forum Rules. I loved it, easy to find. Try reading it. Doesn't say you can't jack a thread. Out of courtesy, most of us first wait to see if thread owner does it and then ask. I'm asking?
I am partaking (for legal reason's, vicariously-of course) in a Kush X Blueberry. U think it is a bit much for a first time in a completely new environment and supplies (with last gro about 30 yr?). My reading says flushing not only blows off the old nutes, etc. Helps prevent disease, etc. And having tasted a few--if it isn't flushed well, you can taste the dirt and nukes! I have some Kush I bought last Sept. I swear I can taste the dirt! Which is why it has lasted so long and my using has been reserved for severe pain days. I love the organic stuff.
Doesn't root bound cause some mold? Do you cut off any of the residual roots. Seems I read a thread with some SA comments and they cut off the bottom of plant with some mold on it-maybe wrong, it happens alot). I know I've read don't touch roots more than possible. However, gardening books say to pull them loose to plant, etc. I have planted some that said cut off some as well--haven't done it, sounds to harsh.
Very interesting thread and thanks so much for sharing and the experts that have chimed in. I am just soaking it all in. For my amatuer grows, when it is federally legal, of course!
I was told to flush for a few weeks on the ground if growing outdoors with mostly a mix of local dirt. However, I think local dirt is contaminated and the flush sounds like a, best bet! When you vape (especially) you'd start just for the flavor (or switch to buttered Fudge) It makes a much better smoke!
Those $6. bags may be preventable. I used co-poly in a non-edible grow and it was $15. per 14 oz. I called the distribution center for Target! They had a mail order 100 lb bag of it for less than $100.! Years ago, but may still do it and save a lot of money! They may have it, even if hey don't have it in the stores. cuz, I cheap too and like a nice yard. P/R
I thot Apple became compatible with other PC's. Is there a glitch in it?? or good reason to buy a new camera? Bet the spring water taste's good and your girls love'um! Perked right up!
Ever dream of rows of cannibis plants on 50 acres and not have to worry! I wanna, just because! Or, Woodstock party in Kentucky! Wow, a real farm of cannabis and owner quits daytime job to host parties that increase clouds in the sky!
Gardening by The Moon- a discussion of the technique
I've dreamed of putting the whole farm out in high grade crops....One field of this, another field of that....using all clones of course!
The book "Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come",by John Fox, Jr tells about fields of hemp stretching as far as the eye could see.... It's a book about Ky in the pre- civil war era.
Anyway that would be so cool to one day grow your own crop of high quality MJ in such a manner. Can't wait for legalization, then ya'll will be importing my good weed wherever it was needed in the dispensaries..lol
Did a wake & bake hee hee, having a good time.....
Here's a pic of my White Rhino gal, she was just repotted into a real pot, was rootbound but seems to be doing well for a plant who lived in the dark for 9 days and nights in freezing temps of down to 0 degrees with absolutely no heat at all... Maybe that Moon planting was what pulled em all through???!!!!!

Now raising Super Thoroughbred Moon Planted Amazons! :D
Following the theory of germing, transplanting & harvesting in favorable moon signs, I've attempted to raise what are termed thoroughbred plants.. This seems to have invested potential superpowers to all the plants!!!! Yes, that's right, they survived in freezing cold (lowest indoor recorded temp was 35 degrees) and no light for 9 days!
No signs at all on the pollen crops being damaged... they seem super hardy and will have tons of flowers...no hermies noted among the crop of males.
Help me pick a potential father for the future NL5Haze seeds please...
Contestant #1 has a fruity aroma, perhaps a strawberry smell, and is shorter
Contestant #2 survives being pinched at top node, only to pop right back up. He has a skunky smell.
Contestant #3 As tall as #2, smelling about the same as #2. Skunky smell.
Who do ya'll think would make the best NL5Haze Daddy? 1,2,or 3?
As for the other two strains had a 50/50 split with one male and female Whino and one male and female California Orange Bud....Of course, will breed these for seeds to purebred out some lines... Only started 3 seeds of 3 strains originally. Lost 2 plants to mystery ailment, did not survive as clones with the weather here.
Anyway, I'm really impressed they did not seem to suffer any minor damage from the horrible conditions. Their problems were related to being the only 2 plants that did not get repotted at last transplant time. Both of the females were rootbound..... No signs of hermie on the 2 gals

as for a dad, i'd breed for speed myself. fastest developing male wins. IMO
good to hear about you super-moon-genetically-gifted plants surviving!
