Northern California - Small Rooftop Grow
so i just clipped a single blade from the sugar leaf off each plant to check the trichomes, and 3 of them are showing about 10-15% amber. does anyone know how long it usually takes to get from about 10% to 40-50%? im guessing just a couple weeks, right? the oldest is going into the 7th week, so im guessing it shouldn't be much longer
any advice?

i think it would be too early to start clipping her. especially with her last 2 weeks coming up now, shes really been putting on weight lately, so im gunna wait it out. and i want a more couch-lock, stoney high, rather than an up high

I recently read on these boards an answer to nearly the same question. Memory is a little foggy (usually), but i think you are right on point in thinking it willbe about two weeks to go from 10>40%. That was the ballpark.
Let it grow...let it grow

hey ari, thanks for stopping by.
thats what i figured, mostly going on how old the plant is. going into week 7, so i figured another 2 weeks or so

so my oldest plant is at about day 46 of flowering, so im guessing another 10-15 days for her before she gets the chop. so would that mean i should start giving her only plain water to flush out all the nutrient buildup or whatever it is that ive read you should get rid of to make the flavor better?
i need help ASAP if possible. with only 15 days to go; aren't you supposed to flush for the last two weeks?
Stinky, can you help me on this one?

2-4: the biggest of the 4. really thickening up now
5: the second biggest. filling in nicely

looks like the folk's eyes behind that brown fence just missed seeing some serious Botaniporn. I'll bet their noses are a bit luckier.
The aroma from my garden is covering many square feet. In fact i smell it now as i sit typing. God Bud is a finicky plant for me, but stinky as fruity roadkill.

As for the flush, it is personal preference. If you use Chem ferts it is highly recommended. If you are organic it would be sufficient to flush for a week or less if you choose. Not really a set practice from my understanding. I say better flush a bit longer if unsure because those plants still look green enough that they can pull some food from the fan leaves. Hope that helped, or at least made some sense.
