I'll keep my turbo AWD 4cyl over an 8cyl anyday. Remember kids, God created turbo lag to give V8's a chance.

The 4wd lo setting that the new Subies are missing actually was GREAT for towing short distances... all warnings in the owner's manual aside... including removing my buddy's Ranger from the woods (~5 miles of logging trails- should have seen it- hilarious night) when he managed to blow something in the electrical system out in the middle of nowhere... lolQuote:

Heres my car, race quad, pocket bike and stupid street bike.
Car has about $5000 put into parts and been sitting at a body shop for like 2 months but Im toled it should finaly be finished being painted all silver this week.
My race quad started out as a 400ex which i got it used for $5000 and then I put $10,000 into it got it set up for the nationals. Only thing left stock was the swing arm cause stock is aluminum and aftermarket is steel and i wanted to keep it light as could be so i left it stock sept for sanding it smooth and polishing it and i ran the stock front spendles and stock gas tank. Every thing else was aftermarket. I did a engien swap using a yz426 engine and then built it using 2 race cams, full hinson clutch, 14:1 compression and bored to 444cc. And my race numbers #420!!!:thumbsup:
Then the pocket bike I bored out the carb and ported and polished the engine. Put a carbon fiber reed in it, added 2 boost ports, 17:1 compression piston, boost bottle, bored over, drag pipe with no muffler and a race clutch with stiffer springs which wouldnt let the clutch engage till 5000 rpm and it had no rev limiter. It went pretty fast till i sold it cause it needed alcohol and the pull cord kept snapping from all the compression in the engine.
